The unique view of Pamukkale and the balloon tour in Cappadocia were unforgettable memories. The food was just according to my taste. Hotels were at an average level. I had travelled to Greece before, so I didn't see anything new there that surprised me, but I was in Turkey for the first time. It is a beautiful country, far above my expectations.
This tour was perfect for those passionate about ancient history and the evolution of civilizations, all while enjoying stunning landscapes and modern cultures. Our tour guides for Greece and Turkey were exceptional, significantly contributing to the tour's success. They brilliantly intertwined the contemporary and ancient histories of both countries. The food was delicious, and the hotels often surpassed our expectations.
Great countries, great cities, a great group and a great team. I felt like Alice in Wonderland.
Had a great (although tiring) few weeks in Turkiye and Greece with a Eskapas. We'll be back in touch with Eskapas soon to lock in our next trip. :)
Impressive tour covering highlights of both countries. The guide's local connections gave us unique experiences. Some long travel days, but the coach was comfortable. Food was a delightful part of the cultural experience.
The hotels were generally better than I expected. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. I can't imagine a better tour for getting to know Turkey and Greece more closely in such a limited time. Thanks to everyone involved. Note: I'd like to give special thanks to Yilmaz, who was our driver during the Turkey leg of the tour.
Unforgettable trip through two fascinating countries. The balloon ride was worth every penny. Our guide handled a diverse group with ease. Some accommodations were more basic than expected, but the locations were always excellent.
The hotels on this tour were a pleasant surprise. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, and excellent service throughout. The staff at each location went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A great night's sleep after each day's adventures! Beyond the hotels, the tour's pacing was just right, allowing us to see major sites without feeling rushed. The local guides' knowledge added depth to each visit, making the historical sites come alive.
Pleasantly surprised by this tour. Highlights were Cappadocia's landscapes and the Acropolis in Athens. Food was generally good, especially loved the Turkish breakfasts. Appreciated the balance of guided tours and free time. Good value for money.
The hot air balloon tour in Cappadocia was unforgettable. The hotels were generally centrally located, which made it easy for me to explore on my own during free time. We had the opportunity to taste local cuisines, and I especially loved the Turkish mezes. The tour program was intense but well-planned. I definitely recommend it for culture and history enthusiasts!
I participated as a single woman over seventy years old. Before the tour, I had some reservations, especially about keeping up with the pace. However, this tour didn't strain me. Either I'm getting younger, or it was a very well-planned tour. I prefer to believe the former :) I'd also like to mention the food. I'm an American who mainly eats meat. Faced with the variety of Turkish and Greek cuisine, I felt the need to try every dish and fell in love with the vegetarian meals! If I had joined such a tour at a younger age, I would definitely have reconsidered my eating habits. I recommend it to everyone.
This was a tour for individuals interested in the ancient world and civilisation's past, as well as enjoying stunning landscapes and present cultures in these countries. The tour guides, one for Greece and one for Turkey, were flawless. The cuisine was the Mediterranean diet on steroids, and the hotels well exceeded our expectations. We were glad we were on a smaller group tour (with 18 other Australians) because there are many more possibilities for exploring than on larger group tours. We'd want to thank the team for working together to provide us with this wonderful experience.
The driver's good command of English and his expertise in his job ensured that the 11-day tour went very smoothly and without any issues. Driver Ali prevented many potential small problems before they even occurred. The guides were also very knowledgeable, especially about history, and had proactive personalities. The accommodation was comfortable and as it should be. The meals were varied. I didn't have a favorite dish except for the seafood. As I'm a picky eater, I wasn't very satisfied with the food, but overall it was a tour I can recommend.
My wife and I had an incredible time on this Turkey and Greece tour! The itinerary was well-planned, allowing us to see so much in just 11 days. Istanbul was a highlight - the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are breathtaking. Our guide in Cappadocia was exceptionally knowledgeable and made the unique landscape come alive. The hot air balloon ride over the fairy chimneys was unforgettable! The transition to Greece was smooth, and Athens did not disappoint. The Acropolis tour was informative, and the Saronic Islands cruise was a perfect way to relax towards the end of our trip. Throughout the tour, the accommodations were comfortable and well-located. We particularly enjoyed the cave hotel in Cappadocia. The only downside was that some days felt a bit rushed, but that's understandable given how much we covered. Overall, a fantastic experience that I'd highly recommend!
Unforgettable trip! The Saronic Islands cruise was breathtaking. Our driver in Greece was friendly and punctual. Hagia Sophia in Istanbul left us in awe. Wish we had more free time in some locations, but understood given the packed itinerary. Would do it again!
This tour was a history buff's dream come true. Our guide Ayshe's knowledge of ancient civilizations was impressive, bringing sites like the Acropolis to life. The Turkish breakfasts were a daily treat. I was amazed by the diversity of landscapes. While some days were tiring, the experiences were well worth it. Highly recommended!
A well-organized tour showcasing the best of Turkey and Greece. Hotels were generally good, though a couple were basic. Our driver was skilled, especially on mountain roads. Turkish breakfasts became a group favorite. Some long travel days, but the diverse experiences made up for it. A journey that will stay with us for years to come!
This tour sparked a deeper interest in ancient history for me. I've been reading up on the regions since I got back. A truly educational experience! The guides' passion for history was contagious, and they recommended several books that I've since purchased. It's amazing how much the tour has enriched my understanding of both modern and ancient cultures in these regions.
Didn't expect to learn so much! The guides brought ancient sites to life with their stories. The long bus rides were comfortable thanks to our skilled driver and the well-maintained coach.
I thoroughly enjoyed exploring Greece, the cradle of Western democracy. The tour provided an excellent overview of ancient Greek culture and its lasting influence. Our knowledgeable guide brought the historical sites to life, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. Turkey... another beauty... It is a unique, uniquely different place to savour its beauty and experience its delicious cuisine.
As a 66-year-old solo traveller, I had hesitations about joining this tour. Since I am an independent spirit, I thought that I might have problems in fitting into the group. However, I came across such a like-minded group that when I think about it now, I wish I had joined the tours before. I met very nice and good people, both the people in the group and the guides. The only thing to say about the two countries is that they are great countries. Nature, history, local people have a lot to see and admire.
The historical sites were breathtaking, especially in Ephesus and Athens. I loved trying local cuisines - the Turkish mezze and Greek seafood were highlights. Hotels were comfortable and well-located. The itinerary was packed but well-balanced, allowing us to see a lot without feeling rushed. A great way to experience both countries!
Never thought I'd enjoy a guided tour, but this one changed my mind! The local insights were priceless. Our guides didn't just recite facts, they shared personal stories and cultural nuances that brought each location to life. The small group size allowed for intimate experiences and the flexibility to explore some off-the-beaten-path gems. It felt less like a tour and more like traveling with knowledgeable friends.
At the end of 11 days decorated with beautiful people and beautiful memories, I recommend this tour to everyone. Especially if you meet Ali Bey (driver), you are very lucky.
Overall, a solid 4 star experience. The itinerary was well planned and the guides were knowledgeable. However, our room in Athens had some plumbing issues that took a day to resolve. Still, the tour company's quick response was appreciated. Despite this problem, I would still recommend the tour.
We have traveled thoroughly around the world for many years, and Eskapas is without a doubt one of the best travel companies in terms of listening to your needs/desires, making recommendations, assisting you in creating your personal itinerary, and keeping you informed both before and during your trip.
Our guides in Turkey and Greece were incredibly well-informed, and the were excellent at every stop. There was an abundance of sights to take in, particularly for history enthusiasts. The accommodations in both countries were generally impressive. The standout moment of our tour was the hot-air balloon ride in Cappadocia – it was truly spectacular and made the entire trip worthwhile. Additionally, we had a delightful cruise around the Greek Isles.
Well-organized tour covering highlights of both countries. The food was a pleasant surprise - loved trying local specialties.
An excellent adventure to Turkey to Greece. The driver Mehmet’s professionalism made us feel safe on all kind of roads. Loved the mix of historical sites and natural wonders. The food in Turkey and Greece was consistently delicious.
Thank you for all of your hard work, and to all the behind-the-scenes people in the offices that don't get enough credit for organizing everything. The trip was excellent; guides, hotels. The only thing we loved less was the hotel dinners while there is excellent Turkish food outside.
Our tour organizers in Turkey and Greece were extremely knowledgable, and the guides at each stop were exceptional. There's a lot to see, which is especially intriguing if you're into history. Overall, the accommodations in Turkey were nice, but not as fantastic as those in Greece.
The hotels were acceptable. I have stayed in better ones. The team was professional. Especially the guides were in love with their work. The food and appetisers were exceptional. We travelled a lot on a tight schedule and frankly I was a bit tired but it was worth it.
This tour of Greece and Turkey was an incredible journey! The guides were very knowledgeable, and one of them was also really funny, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The accommodations were comfortable and often exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious, giving us a real taste of the local cuisine. From the ancient ruins in Athens to the bustling bazaars in Istanbul, every day was an adventure. The hot-air balloon ride in Cappadocia was a standout experience that I'll never forget. Overall, a well-organized and unforgettable trip!
They planned the tour route with scientific precision, down to the minute. Not a single minute we spent on the tour was wasted. They provided us with an amazing experience without rushing us from place to place or exhausting the group. This was the most important aspect for me. The fact that the hotels were better than I expected and the excellence of both Turkish and Greek cuisines were added bonuses. I recommend this tour to everyone.
What a culinary journey! The Turkish mezes were a revelation - such variety and flavor. And pairing them with rakı? Pure bliss. It's not just a drink, it's an experience. The food alone made this trip worthwhile.
In a limited period of 11 days, I saw many places in both countries. The staff never rushed us at all. I was able to savor every place I visited. When it comes to accommodation, I usually lower my expectations before going on a tour. I did the same before this tour and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and comfort of the accommodations. I was very satisfied with the hotels, staff, meals, and guides. Thank you.
This tour was a perfect introduction to Turkey and Greece. Memet - The driver in Turkey was skilled and made us feel safe on mountain roads. Ephesus was mind-blowing, and our guide there was passionate about archaeology. The hotel in Athens had a rooftop bar with stunning Acropolis views. A trip to remember!
I was expecting the accommodation to be similar to typical 4 star accommodation but I was very happy to find a much better accommodation. All the hotels we stayed in were extremely comfortable and beautiful. I have travelled in Greece and Turkey before, but this time I travelled with experts and learnt from them. There is nothing negative to write about. I recommend it.
Fabulous trip and the organization. The guides were absolutely good in both countries. Everything was managed so well that we didn't have to worry about anything from the start to the end. The trip followed the timetable that they offered during our booking. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and the buses were very comfortable. Thanks for the trip of a lifetime!

Solid tour experience. The itinerary covered major sites without feeling rushed. Guides were informative and accommodations were clean and centrally located. Some meals were hit or miss, but overall a great way to explore Turkey and Greece. Would recommend.
I've been on many guided tours over the years and know how important a good guide can be. This tour exceeded my expectations, especially in terms of the guides' knowledge and enthusiasm. In both Turkey and Greece, our guides brought history to life with their vivid storytelling. I was particularly impressed with Ayshe in Istanbul, who seamlessly blended historical facts with local folklore. A special mention to our driver, Memet whose careful driving made the long journeys comfortable and safe.
As a solo traveler, I was a bit apprehensive, but this tour exceeded my expectations. The group dynamics were great, and I never felt left out. The guide's attention to everyone's needs was impressive. A fantastic way to explore Turkey and Greece!
Wasn't sure about the long bus rides, but they turned out to be a highlight. Beautiful scenery and the guide used the time to prep us for upcoming sites. Smart planning! The comfortable coach and frequent stops at scenic points made the journeys enjoyable. Our guide even taught us some basic phrases in Turkish and Greek during the rides, which came in handy throughout the trip.
This tour struck a perfect balance between structured activities and free time. We never felt rushed, yet saw so much. The blend of ancient sites and modern cities gave us a real feel for both countries. A journey through time I'll never forget.
Great tour overall. The guide’s (Meltem) passion for history was contagious. Loved exploring the ancient sites and bustling markets. The food was hit or miss, but the cultural experiences more than made up for it. It was an amazing trip! Thank you Eskapas!
I liked all but one of the hotels. One of them was very noisy and crowded. Apart from that, the food was not good for me. The driver and guides were professional as they should be. The journeys within the tour were a bit long. 4 stars from me.
An unforgettable journey through Turkey and Greece! Our driver, Mehmet, was exceptional, navigating winding roads with skill and always ensuring our comfort. The hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I appreciated the free time we had to explore on our own. The tour offered a perfect blend of ancient history and modern culture.
Our driver Mete deserves special mention - always punctual and a smooth operator on those winding roads. The itinerary was well-paced, allowing us to see a lot without feeling rushed.
A photographer's dream! Every stop offered unique photo opportunities. Appreciated the guide's patience as I set up my shots. They even pointed out some lesser-known spots with fantastic views that I might have missed otherwise. The diverse landscapes from bustling cities to serene ruins provided a wide range of subjects. I came home with a portfolio I'm truly proud of. Thank you for everything!
I joined a tour with the travel team for the first time. Their time management and services were good. I liked the hotels, the food was country-specific, different and delicious (especially calamari). The drivers could speak English, which is an advantage. I recommend it to everyone.
Amazing journey through Turkey and Greece. Cappadocia's landscape was otherworldly. The guide in Ankara was particularly engaging. Loved the blend of historical sites and natural wonders. Some hotels were a bit basic, but overall a great experience.
