Egypt: Pharaohs & Pyramids

I could not rave more about this trip! It was such a culutral experience for me as someone who has only travelled to western countires. Ahmed was the best tour leader ever. There was never a question you couldn't ask him that he would have an answer for. He was so joyful and uplifting to our entire group, you never felt unsafe or bored with him. The trip itself was so worth the money and more. We got such a deep dive (hehehehe) into Egypt, and we saw a lot of what the country is about besides its historical value. I would 100% go back and do this trip 10 times over if I could.

Really enjoyed the tour, was very cool to see the different sights and learn about the history. The guide (Ramy) was great. Would have liked more time in Hurghada, as just arrived in time for dinner then left the next morning. Also was hard to organise snorkelling as need at least 5 of the group to want to do the one organised by the tour.

This trip truly exceeded my expectations in every way. The itinerary was perfectly planned, covering all the highlights I had on my list—and even a few unexpected ones. I was lucky to meet an amazing group of fellow travelers, each bringing their own excitement and energy to the experience. We shared countless laughs, stories, and meals that created memories I’ll cherish forever. Our tour guide Mohsen was incredible—so knowledgeable and passionate about Egypt's history and culture. He brought each site to life, sharing fascinating stories and insights that made the experience unforgettable. His enthusiasm and warmth made the whole journey feel personal and engaging. Overall, it was the trip of a lifetime! I’d highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to explore Egypt in a fun, insightful, and hassle-free way.

Egypt has always been in the top of my bucketlist for places to see and Topdeck didn’t disappoint. I got to see all the really big places like Abu Simbel, ride a camel by the Pyramids and explore so many ancient tombs and temples. Also our guide Mohammed, he is an incredible asset to Topdeck. We were so lucky to clearly have one of the best showing us around, he was so helpful to everyone, funny and very knowledgeable. I genuinely hope anyone who has Egypt on their list visits this amazing country and I’m so so glad I chose to go with Topdeck.

Couldn’t recommend it enough! Our trip leader made the trip for us. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about Egypt’s history and did everything in his power to ensure we felt safe and comfortable. If you’re thinking about going…do it!

Do you like being squashed in a Toyota Hiace van overnight? Do you enjoy being intimately acquainted with a stranger as you’re squashed into tiny seats for an overnight trip? Do you enjoy leaving your armoured guard behind because they can’t physically fit in the vehicle? If so this trip is for you! The sites and the guide were fantastic! But there’s a problem when one of the participants chooses to sleep on the floor of the van at our feet because there’s more room than the seats! What’s worse is that we were all envious that he thought of it first! Don’t get me wrong, the trip was awesome and the rest of the accom was great. But be warned, you won’t travel by coach - instead just a glamourised soccer mum car.

The Top Deck Delve Deep Egypt Tour was a trip of a lifetime. The price for what was included was remarkable, and the sensationally knowledgeable tour guide we received for the trip really took the trip to the next level. The hotels were all clean and safe, the hotel staff were lovely, and the hotel food was divine. The local cuisine was incredible and i miss it dearly! The locations and attractions we visited were truly breathtaking, the fact that Top Deck was able to organise for us to see and do so much in such a short amount of time is truly amazing. The entire trip ran smoothly and according to plan. Our sensational tour guide Mohammed Ali was fluent in English, Arabic and also Italian. His knowledge of not only the sites we visited but also Egypt as a whole was astounding. Mohammed was friendly, respectful, caring and had great communication skills. If I were to return to Egypt I would request Mohammed as my tour guide and I would complete another Top Deck Tour again. As I say goodbye to this remarkable country, I just want to take a moment to appreciate how magnificent it is. A country so culturally rich and diverse, where you can experience the city/desert/ocean/greenery all within 1 short holiday. A country full of hidden treasures and incredible food everywhere you go. A country who despite its economic struggles, continues to grow and develop. A country full of the most beautiful and kind people, who value and appreciate tourists, and who for the most part just want to hear about our country and hear us speak. I cannot recommend Egypt more highly to anyone wanting to delve in to a country so beautiful as it is diverse.

Our tour guide Hany was the most knowledgeable and fun person to travel with. However the literary is a bit misleading, none of us knew what we signed up for. There is a lot of driving which can be uncomfortable if you can't drive too much, especially over night was difficult. Also the bost ride was a bit of a waste as we spent majority of the ride on the bank because the wind was too strong . Otherwise it was a great trip and organised so well by Hany to avoid crowds and get the most out of everything.

Getting what you paid for, really is going deep into Ancient Egypt and the culture too

Needed a second day in Luxor and Hurghada. It felt very rushed and there wasn’t enough time to see everything

What you paid for was exactly what you got. Pyramids, Sphinx, museums and endless temples. in conjunction with a superb trip leader, the journey was a fantastic experience.

Some of the add on activities were overpriced but otherwise really great trip

This trip was amazing, and I was so glad that we got to see so many sites. Which is one of the reasons why I went with the Top Deck trip in the first place. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see Egypt. The only drawback is that it's pretty full on, not much down time. I also felt that we needed an extra day in Luxor as we were rushed through the Valley of the Kings and didn't get as much time there as I would have liked. But all in all, it was amazing!

Sam was fantastic and gave us a run down of the history and importance at each site. He also briefed us about specific scams in each area so we could be aware. Sam was always super friendly and helpful and gave us great tips. Such as recommending which tombs to check out in the valley of the kings. Overall this trip is fantastic value for money and was a fabulous time. Highly recommend this trip!

Great place to visit and a safe way to visit it. Amazing incredible sights to be seen. To have a guide who makes you feel like you know the whole area better and put you at ease only adds to the experience. I went to somewhere I thought I never would and saw history at the coalface.

So fun. Our guide was awesome and made an effort to give us the best experience.
