Very well organised tour - great support information, bikes well maintained, luggage transfers went smoothly, accommodation excellent, pre tour support also very efficient and friendly.
My wife and I completed the self guided cycle trip from Passau to Budapest. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The provided bikes were great, accommodation was comfortable, provided documentation was excellent and luggage transfer was flawless. In general the cycle paths were in very good condition. I would recommend this trip to even inexperienced riders, it is a great way to see the country.
Very well organised, good accommodation, luggage transfers perfect, all in all a very enjoyable experience.
The excellent organisation behind our self-guided trip gave us the freedom to cycle at our own pace and explore as we wanted.
An unforgettable experience cycling along the Danube and through cities and villages of Central Europe. Put it on your bucket list.
I have never ridden an e-bike before but what a fantastic way to experience and explore the beautiful towns and countryside along the Danube.
Great trip. Journey from Passau to Budapest by cycle was very manageable for the two of us. Distances were not too demanding. All accommodation and luggage transfer was well organized and without problems. First half, from Passau to Vienna was probably more scenic than second half and may suit those wanting a shorter trip.
Was good the weather not so but that’s life. Pleased I did it.
The Passau to Budapest cycle along the Danube is one of those journeys where the scenery and the locations are forever changing, The journey is a mix of farmland, vineyards and cities, there is always a castle around the next corner mixed with picturesque towns with there churches and basilicas to explore. The standard of accommodation tended to vary depending on location however this was always clean with good amenities. Some of the cycle ways are custom built however there is a bit of navigation work to do in some areas particularly coming into and out of the towns and cities. We undertook this trip in June when the Danube was in flood and some of the cycle ways were underwater this meant a number of diversions, thank goodness for Google maps.
