Good trip. The weather put a damper on half of the trip but still saw and experienced much. Beautiful country
Overall, I was a bit disappointed after reading so many positive reviews of the tour company. Maybe my expectations were too high. The sights themselves were magnificent, certainly worth the visit. But the tour reps and guides seemed to have done their jobs so many times, their speech had become routine, and I felt like just another client being pushed through the system.
This was a fabulous trip. All the iconic historical sites, the great food, the fabulous accommodations. Highly reccommend this trip.
Mohamed was a great, knowledgeable guide, incredibly patient and kind. His enthusiasm made the trip both entertaining and informative. We loved the boat and the historic hotels, which made the trip relaxing and luxurious. Great trip!
Egypt is a fascinating, complex country that seems in be functioning in several centuries from ancient tombs and temples, to camel markets and farming without machines, to modern urban developments. Our trip leader Mohamed was enthusiastic, helpful, and a great teacher. This was a very special trip.
Going inside the Great Pyramid at Giza, Cairo was a childhood bucket list item, but the hot air balloon trip from Luxor over the Valley of the Kings, Karnak & Luxor temples was fantastic! The sights and sounds of 20 odd hot air balloons being inflated at dawn all around us is a memory that will stay forever.
