Good staff with excellent knowledge and understanding of South Africa. The tour allowed time to see important sights and was good value. There was choice of whether to take part in additional activities. Accommodation was clean and comfortable.
This tour ticks all the box's, there were a wide variety of activities (all optional), and this encompassed fun, leisure and culture in lots of different physical ways.
It was an amazing experience,., tour guides very friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to see some of hidden gems in my own country that I didn't know... Co-travellers were very friendly. The tour exceeded my expectations .
Great tour of the Garden Route made memorable by he passion shown for his homeland by Willhem Steenkamp. So many inclusions make this tour excellent value for money
The tour was above our expectations
The tour was great and we went to really good places. The highlight for me was definitely the safari, we got so close to some of the animals, even the lions we managed to get close to which weren't even sleeping at the time either. The guide on the safari was very knowledgable and answered any questions people had, people should make sure they listen to the guides, one person stuck their selfie stick outside of the vehicle which meant the lion growled, although it meant most people had good videos the lions were not happy with it. I also chose to go to monkeyland and I would highly recommend this and again the guide we had was very knowledgable. Our tour leader was ok, but I've had better on other expat tours. The accommodations were amazing, we stayed in some lovely places which were unique for many of the group and most people seemed excited when we got to a new accommodation because of how nice they were. All of the hotel staff in each accommodation were great and always smiling and happy, it was also lovely that at some of the places the staff waved us off as we left. Our bus driver, Abraham was great, he always had a smile on his face and greeted everybody each day.
This was the trip of a lifetime. We were able to see, do, and taste so much. Matt (our tour leader) and Benny (our driver) were the dream team and kept us engaged and entertained the entire time. I highly recommend booking this tour.
It was a great way to explore the Western and Eastern Cape which is very beautiful and diverse.
Best trip I have ever been on!!! Great tour leader, tours and optional tours. Somewhat of an adventure trip with optional tours such as Monkey Land , bungee jumping, ziplining or kayaking in the Indian Ocean. Hotels and food equally amazing!!! No complaints here!!!
I did the nine day Cape Town and Garden Route tour and had an absolute blast. Willem was a great tour guide, most of the group I was with was amazing, and South Africa was a beautiful country that I fell in love with. Most of the items on the itinerary were great, but I think would have really enhanced the experience for those who have limited vacation time (like I did, which is why I couldn't do the 14 day SA tour), I would recommend removing Botlierskop, the extra winery and the ostrich farm from the itinerary and maybe take out some other small stops along the way in order to have a 10 day trip perhaps that included Kruger? While Botlierskop was beautiful, Kruger looked much more amazing, and I felt like the multiple winery stops was a bit redundant. 14 days with the travel was just too much time for me to take off work, but I really wish I could have gone to Kruger. Overall, though, I loved the tour and miss SA so much. Still dealing with the post vacation blues even two weeks later.
