Thoroughly enjoyed this destination. Loved the temple ruins and celebrating the holidays with my new family!
Loved the trip, especially the ruins and enjoyed meeting all new people to share the holidays with!
Great - will hopefully join another tour
My experience traveling thro Cambodia was fantastic, and it was made even more special because of Dominic.
Our guide?s name was Happy and her enthusiasm was infectious. A wonderful trip.
Exceptional trip through Cambodia, with a lot of learning of old / new history and experince the culture and people of this amazing country. High value for paid amount of the tour.
This was an amazing trip!!
Never have I expected to get such an awesome and rewarding experience from travelling through Cambodia with G Adventures!
In one important respect, this is not a trip for the faint of heart in as much as it addresses the matter of Cambodia’s past, and the regime under the Khmer Rouge regime and Pol Pot which brought so much evil to the country between 1975 and 1979. But it is a history that the world must never forget and it is an incredibly poignant visit to the sites that recall that time. However, the tour includes the wonder which is Angkor Wat and that helps give a balance to the trip. The travel specialist has some excellent guides (CEOs in its own terminology) and the CEO on our trip was just such a person. Calm, helpful and warm, Vinh helped made the experience a great one.
An incredible experience which allowed us to see some of the best sites of Cambodia while also learning of its traumatic past. The amazing site of Angkor Wat contrasted with the horrors of mankind?s capability to cause evil to other humans as perpetrated by the Khmer Rouge; but I would not have wanted to miss that. The world needs to remember and learn from such dark times.
Experienced tour guide and the best option if you want to go country-hopping as a Westerner. The best option if you want to see Cambodia for 5 days, but if you want to see Bangkok or Ho Chi Minh more, I'd recommend a week in those cities. I was with 7 other Westerners and we had wonderful convos.
My tour guide Ammy was fantastic. Seeing Vietnam vs. Cambodia vs. Thailand economics/people/culture compared in the short span of 8 days is very interesting. My tour group were wonderful people and I made friends from many countries.
