I felt that we were rushed everywhere. Also we were not told that there was all the optional excursions that cost more money. I understand there was a lot to see.
I think it was comprehensive view of the UK. Our tour guide gave us interesting and entertaining information about all the places we visited. Our bus driver was very helpful and an excellent driver navigating that big bus around those old roads wouldn't have been easy! The optional experiences added to the variety of our journey. The hotels on the whole were quite good with the exception of the Hilton Kensington. Apart from the excellent buffet breakfast and helpful staff there was nothing positive to say about the place. It was not value for money.
TD was very knowledgeable about the history of each area we went through as well as current cultural relevance for the group ie filming locations for various movies and TV. This gave great context and a big improvement on my last UK tour. Please put in more 2 night stays and provide travel requirements for the optional experience. Bus driver was terrific. Safe. Experienced. Great tour
Loved every bit of it. and were amazing. knowledge was second to none . We learnt so much from him. He went out of his way to make this trip such a wonderful experience. our driver his skills were exceptional he got us out of all sorts of difficulties with parking a huge tour Bus . Other drivers would definitely not have the skills or patience he has.
Too many options that had to be paid for $2,000 Too much Food at dinners included in price where terrible
The trip was everything I expected it to be.
Each day is busy though well managed with wonder sights to see.
For me this was a fantastic journey through UK Scotland , my homeland Rep of Ireland, Breathtaking scenery, historical places, interesting out of the way areas, Castles, Cathedrals and churches, quaint pubs, thatched cottagesour delightful Tour Director offered insight and little surprises along the journeyour Coach driver, we were in very safe hands, he drove the coach with precision and skill in some very tight areas and roads, a polite and courteous person in all circumstances taking pride in his appearance and the coach, Blessed with very smooth crossings of the Irish Sea on the ferries, most of the accommodation was very comfortable , only 2 were disappointing, our group of 33 were delightful and easy to enjoy our daily adventures, I would definitely travel with Trafalgar again in the future,
It was a wonderful trip, travelling through the stunning scenery of Scotland, Ireland, Wales and English countryside. We had some fantastic visits to many beautiful historic, castles, cathedrals and gorgeous villages. The breakfasts provided were amazing. We absolutely loved the dinners and entertainment which was a real treat. It was a very well organised and jam packed holiday experience which has left us with many happy memories.
Left to long in most towns. Tour director very unapproachable came across as tho she would rather not be there.
Okay; the experience would have been excellent except for the hotel stay in Liverpool, which was poor. Also, in the future it would be good to ask the travellers what level of walking (vigorous, moderate of light) that they can handle.
It was amazing attractions, but would be better if the optionals are cheaper
Friendly tour guide and driver
1) Not enough free time in the big cities like Edinburgh, Dublin & Cardiff. Perhaps, leave 1 free day in each city for customers to explore on their own or for some just to rest & cover. 2) Too many castles included (maybe max 4). By the time you get to 6 or 7, the novelty had worn off. 3) Recommended tips amount - contentious issue as we do talk amongst us as customers.
This trip covers a large territory and has hours of busy travel.
Great itinerary, guide
This trip was fantastic. Our bus driver was a real gentleman with precision driving skills. Our tour guide was a wealth of information, like a walking encyclopedia, the details that were advised to us about each country/town/county was amazing. The destinations were fantastic. The extra activities amazing. The crew that joined the tour were all lovely. Favourite places for me were Galway, York, Laggan and Liverpool.
A comprehensive itinerary that sometimes included more travel time in the coach than we had expected but given that four countries are included, this has to be expected.
A busy itinerary seeing a large scope of city and rural areas. Lots of history knowledge was shared. Our time was used wisely but we also had free time to explore areas. Highlight recommend the trip. You will not be bored.
