So much thought and planning went into this itinerary to make the trip an amazing experience.
Good places visited but you will need to add on the optional extras to get the full benefits of the tour and add this to the cost of the tour as well as the expected gratuities for the driver and guide!!
Comprehensive and interesting
Had a great time but trip is full on. Would recommend having lifts in all hotels. A couple of places a bit hard lugging bags up stairs for us women
Expecting to go to Stone hedge did not also while driving through the county could explain more about the county side.
Stopping in place where not much to do especially if you weren't do optional package.
Nil
We thought the coach was comfortable and met our needs. We thought some of the hotels were too cramped and didn't have enough room for two people and our suitcases. We also thought some of the places we stopped at to look around had very little to see and the only reason we stopped there was because of convenience for the overnight stay.
It is the right one for people who don’t want to rush every day
2 days not required in Donnegal, additional time in northern Ireland would be better
Great value for money. Certainly not luxury accommodation but comfortable
The coach was only a few months old, and was very comfortable. Some of the accommodation was better than others, but, then again, that gives an authentic feel for the cities that you were in.
Need more 2 nights in same place
Some Hotels were in areas where we were told to move luggage from the street quickly to prevent it being Stolen. The Dublin hotel location surrounds were filthy. When we arrived at the hotel in Bradford a woman was robed by a passing motorcyclist.Overall the trip was way too fast. Not enough comfort stops.Too much Travel time on the Bus.Needs to be slowed down & more time given for stopping to enjoy &experience things.
It was a good trip with he was paitient funny all out a good man
Rushed. Apart from the optional extras nothing was organized for the people who opted out.
The Scottish highlands were incredible
There were just 2 hotels that didn't suite me, one in Scottish Highlands The Graiglynne Hotel it's a beautiful old hotel that i was looking forward staying at but when we went to our room the shower door and stand was broken which we told the reception about who promised to sort it out the next day which didn't happen also the room was dirty cobwebs, needed cleaning up. Dublin One was exceptionally small for 2 people and both hotels we stayed 2 nights.
Bus itinerary our tour director excellent some hotels a bit below par but also some good ones
The hotels some were great some not so. Overall, they were good, but some could have been a little better. The coach was new, so we had no problems with it. The itinerary was what I expected, and the castles and palaces were great. I would have liked a little more time at some locations, but the distances did not allow it.
You don’t get to actually visit the sites. Fort William for example. Down the freeway straight through the town but I did not get to see that specific thing that I travelled half way around the world to experience. The old Fort. If you want to just sit in a coach, for 16 days & predominately look at the scenery that is on the side of the freeways this tour is for you. I would have liked to done extra tours within Scotland. The freeway by passed Manchester & other cities if interest. Less distance & more stops with specific local specialist tour guides.
The Itinerary was well thought of and planned and I did all but 1 of the optional experiences. A couple of times I felt rushed, but to be able to see and fit everything in, you have to expect this, especially if there is traffic congestion. Our guide was incredible and added lots of little stops and surprises too. Hotels were clean and comfortable and a lot exceeded my expectations. Breakfasts were wholesome and hearty with plenty of options. I definitely recommend Costsaver Tours. I have travelled with them twice now and I will choose them again.
Very busy but you get to see a lot of gives you a great taste of what’s on offer in the UK 🇬🇧
Very busy A lot of travelling time spent on coach Would of liked more time at some places and others not really worth it Depends on what you like I guess Most accommodation good Some meals included quite nice
These are full days packed with lots of information, the bus and all the people in it become family. You don’t have to be fit but there is a lot of walking. They help to get you into places where you’d otherwise have to queue up for hours. Amazing scenery
