It was a busy, jam-packed trip with little down-time if you did the optional experiences. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip, however, more time was needed at each of the major cities.

Overall we had an amazing time! Our tour director was incredible and very knowledgeable surrounding the history of each of the locations we visited, with the local specialists providing additional interesting historic information. Our tour director would help us navigate the cities in walking or metro directions, dining options, and where to buy popular souvenirs. He was also very personable and made us feel at ease in locations we had never been to before. Our driver was great and kept us safe while still making great time. The coach bus we had was great, with AC and chargers at each seat. All of the accommodations were nice, however for our hotel in Switzerland it would have been nice to know there would not be air conditioning prior to our tour director informing us on the day of our arrival. The food included with the tour was good. For a few of the locations, especially Venice, not participating in the optional experience left a gap of time to fill and we weren't given the schedule with the times until a day or two beforehand; this would have allowed us to make the most out of our free time, especially given we only had two nights in each location. Not participating in the optional experience in Venice gave us the whole day free (about 7 hours), which given the heatwave and tight city layout, we would have appreciated a way to get back to the hotel through the tour since the directions explained by our tour director were multiple steps and modes of transportation. Furthermore, we would have liked to see more included experiences to the entire tour. The optional experiences we chose were some of the highlights of our trip (have to highlight the Mount Titlis experience as a favorite). However, if you didn't participate in the optional experiences I could see not feeling like you were able to fully experience the locations. Some of the optional experiences did seem overpriced for what was included, which is why we didn't participate in those ones. All in all, we liked how the quick pace gave enough of an experience in each location to know where we would want to visit again. If you're looking for something leisurely, this is not that kind of experience. However, it also wasn't too fast paced that we weren't able to appreciate each location. This was my first Trafalgar tour and I would recommend it to others, and can see myself going on another tour with Trafalgar.
