Start in Thailand’s bustling capital before gliding through canals at the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Fly north to Chiang Mai to explore golden temples, climb Doi Suthep, and spend a day with rescued elephants. Then it’s on to Phuket, where limestone cliffs, island cruises and laid-back beach time await. Crossing into Cambodia, delve into the awe-inspiring Angkor temples, from jungle-entwined Ta Prohm to majestic Angkor Wat, and cruise past floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake.
On arrival in Bangkok, you will be collected by a private driver at the airport and transferred to your hotel in the heart of the city. Your first evening is at leisure to head out and explore the Thai capital.
Bangkok - Damnoen Saduak - Bangkok. At 8:00, you will be collected from your hotel in Bangkok to embark on a private excursion southwest to Ratchaburi province, where the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market awaits. On the way, stop at a local palm sugar factory to see how sugar is made from palm trees, a craft that has been passed down through generations.
You continue to the pier and board a long-tail boat for a ride through the narrow canals. Along the journey you will catch a glimpse of daily life on the waterways, passing wooden houses and locals going about their routines by the water’s edge.
Arriving at the floating market, you can watch vendors skilfully paddle their boats loaded with fruit, vegetables, flowers and handmade goods, selling directly to customers on the banks. This is also a great opportunity to try local snacks such as coconut juice and tropical fruits, or browse for souvenirs to take home. You'll head back to Bangkok for the night.
Bangkok - Chiang Mai. After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your included domestic flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. On arrival at Chiang Mai International Airport, a representative will meet you and escort you to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax or start discovering the charm of Chiang Mai at your own pace.
Today you will embark on a shared group excursion of Chiang Mai, a city with more than 700 years of history. You begin by following the winding road up the hillside overlooking the city to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai’s most significant temple. Standing 3,500 feet above sea level, the temple dates back over 600 years and is crowned by a copper-plated chedi topped with a five-tiered golden parasol. It is said to enshrine relics of the Lord Buddha and is considered the city’s spiritual symbol. From the terrace, you can enjoy sweeping views across Chiang Mai on a clear day. The final approach is a climb up 306 steps of the Naga staircase, guarded by the serpent-like figures of Thai mythology - a fitting welcome to this sacred site.
Back in the city, continue to Wat Suan Dok, once a royal flower garden, now home to a striking central stupa and a collection of whitewashed mausoleums that house the ashes of Chiang Mai’s former rulers. You will also visit Wat Chedi Luang, where an immense chedi, first built in 1411, stands as a reminder of the city’s long and fascinating past. The tour lasts for around 5 hours in total, and the rest of the day is at leisure.
Please note: Today's included sightseeing takes place as a group excursion, meaning you will join other travellers, not just those in your booking party.
Today begins with pick-up from your hotel in Chiang Mai - you'll be driven for about 1.5 hours through rolling hills, forest and farmland to reach the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. On arrival, you change into traditional Karen clothing before meeting the elephants. As you feed and interact with them in their natural surroundings, you will also learn their individual stories and gain insight into their behaviour and history. There is plenty of time to take photos as you enjoy this hands-on experience.
Next, join the elephants for a mud spa before walking with them to the river, where you help bathe them. A traditional meal is served before it is time to say goodbye to the elephants. You make the return journey of around 1.5 hours back to Chiang Mai, with drop-off at your hotel. The total duration of this programme is approximately six hours and the rest of the day is at leisure.

From here, set out on a scenic group cruise across the Andaman Sea, passing the striking karst islets that rise dramatically from the water.
The first stop in Phang Nga Bay is Panak Island, where you take a canoe through sea caves and mangroves. You then continue to Hong Island for more canoeing or kayaking, with local guides leading you through hidden caves and lagoons. Back on board, a buffet lunch is served.
In the afternoon, visit Khao Phing Kan, best known for Ko Ta Pu - a towering limestone islet just offshore, famously nicknamed “James Bond Island” after its appearance in The Man with the Golden Gun. Here you also have time to relax on a secluded beach, swimming or sunbathing before returning to the boat. Around 15:30, you begin the journey back to Phuket for your transfer to the hotel.

For a glimpse of Phuket’s marine life without getting wet, you could visit the aquarium at Cape Panwa. Those seeking more excitement might head to Hanuman World to glide through the jungle on its thrilling zipline courses.

Inside, explore Bayon Temple, built in the late 12th to early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII. Famous for its 54 towers adorned with serene stone faces, Bayon stands at the heart of the ancient city. You then see the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King, before continuing to Preah Khan. Built by King Jayavarman VII and dedicated to his father, this vast monastic complex once housed more than 1,000 monks and served as both a Buddhist monastery and a centre of learning.
In the afternoon, you visit Ta Prohm, where giant tree roots intertwine with temple walls, creating one of Angkor’s most atmospheric sites. And the final destination is by far the most impressive, the legendary Angkor Wat. This sprawling temple is the largest religious monument in the world. Covering 200 hectares and enclosed by a moat and massive outer wall, Angkor Wat is an architectural masterpiece and the enduring symbol of Cambodia - it even features on the national flag!
After a busy day of sightseeing, you are transferred back to the hotel in Siem Reap.
Siem Reap - Tonle Sap Lake - Siem Reap. After breakfast at the hotel, you travel to Tonle Sap Lake for a private boat trip with a local guide. Tonle Sap is the largest permanent freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, connecting to the Mekong River in Phnom Penh through the Tonle Sap River.
During the cruise, visit a floating village where you can see houses, schools and even a police station built on the water. The entire community moves with the changing water levels and currents, creating a remarkable way of life that has adapted to the rhythm of the lake.
Your tour comes to an end today. After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, an included transfer takes you to the airport for your onward flight.
