Argentina for true Explorers -15 days

The team lead by Antonella and Julia were absolutely amazing! I strongly recommend them. Sometimes you visit a place and you are not that interested in returning....Argentina is not the place for us! We can't wait to go back and work with Julia and Antonella again. Every recommendation they made was a great fit for us. The foodie tour, the Asado BBQ cooking school, the Tango show...were all so well done (5 stars). The hotels, tour operators, and restaurant recommendations were perfect. It was such a pleasure landing at the airports and having someone meet us for the ground transfers. We didn't have to think about the basics. Antonella and Julia did that for us so we could focus on the things we wanted like the culture, the sights, the history, the food, and the warm people of Argentina. Antonella checked in on us almost daily and was very available for last minute changes and reservations. It was like having our own personal concierge, definitely not the normal travel agent experience.

I usually don’t post reviews, but I wanted to thank the staff for helping to make our 2 week Argentinian adventure as flawless as possible. First Melina helped plan our itinerary, which was quite challenging since it included 4 flights and 5 hotels! The activities she suggested, from ice trekking to Tango shows were all fun and unique. The transportation to and from activities and hotels was stellar and such a time saver. We chose mid range hotels and each was clean and so fitting for the location we were at. Milagros took over once our itinerary was set and what a bonus that was! What stood out most was how graciously she accommodated all the issues we had once we began our trip - and there were a lot. From lost luggage to last minute flight and hotel changes, Milagros handled everything graciously and without an upcharge to do so. The farewell bottle of wine was such an unexpected surprise. Muchas Gracias, team!

We cannot thank you and everyone from the team enough for the fantastic experience we had in Argentina. We will (and already have) recommended you to any of our friends looking to travel to Argentina, particularly Patagonia. All we had to do was pack and show up! It was so easy, and so much fun. There was something we loved about every hotel that we stayed at, but I think my favourite was the Cauquenes de Nimez in El Calafate... The afternoon tea, the wonderful staff, and the proximity to the wildlife reserve were the icing on the cake for this already charming and cozy place.

Nearly all of the guides were wonderful. I don’t remember the name of the guide who took us to El Chaltén but we appreciated that he took us seriously as trekkers and suggested a slightly longer trek with beautiful views. We thoroughly enjoyed that trek! And we also were very happy with our guide in Tiera del Fuego. She was very lively, knowledgeable and provided us with a couple of wonderful hike and a delicious lunch. We loved all she knew about the birds, trees and geology on the area.

This trip has been AMAZING! Thank you very much! Everything has gone exactly as scheduled, and everything has been wonderful! I liked all three of the hotels, for different reasons. Arakur was my favorite hotel. The restaurant, fabulous staff, and hiking concierge at Los Cerros were great, and the lake view from my room at Xelena is wonderful! I think El Chalten has been my favorite location, but all locations and all activities have been great! It was a good mix of guided hikes with self-guided hikes. I wasn't sure about Estancia Nibepo Aike, but it was great! The lunch and three-hour trail ride were amazing! It was such fun with such amazing scenery! You have a beautiful country! Thank you,"

We had a wonderful time! Everything has gone smoothly, and I know that’s due to YOUR efforts. Calafate was COLD and amazing. Our guides (especially Macarana at Estacia Cristina) were all excellent, attentive and knowledgable. Our Iguazu experience was AMAZING, thanks to the team who has so much experience leading people through crowds of tourists that she made our experience very special and personal. And finally, our evening at THE ARGENTINA EXPERIENCE was the perfect finish to our time here in your country. Also, the food was EXCELLENT! I would recommend this evening to anyone. Regarding our accommodations, we were very pleased with the hotels and their locations. Most of the locations were right in the middle of town or a very short walk to places for excellent meals.

It was a fabulous trip! We might even write a little blog for those traveling and not camping. We have friends with Patagonia on their list and we will definitely highly recommend you."

This group of people gave me a life-changing experience. Each tour guide offers a leisurely pace. They also discuss the area's history. They arrived at the hotel on schedule. For the Cerro los Cristales hike, I hired a private guide. He's now a lifelong buddy of mine. I strongly suggest it.

It was such a fabulous vacation, and then I came back to reality where I have been so busy! Everything was perfect! I want to open the itinerary and pictures and think on each part again to be able to respond. Thank you to all who worked to put together such an epic experience!"

The highlights of our trip were hiking in El Chalten and Perito Moreno. Our favourite excursion was Perito Moreno. All hotels were good but if I had to choose my favourite, it would be Estancia Cristina - cozy and warm interior & Nibepo Aike - immaculately clean and cozy as well. Thank you for all your efforts to make our trip so enjoyable!

First of all, thank you for the empanda recipe!! We will be using it as part of our Christmas dinner! In addition to the empanadas, we will also be having Matambre with Chimichurri Sauce, Ensalada Rusa, Humita, tomates rellenos, Flan and bread pudding The arrangements by the team made for us helped us enjoy each location that much more without having to worry about all the travel details. One item that really impressed us about ALL the hotels we stayed in.....once we checked in, the people that worked at each hotel remembered our names!!! Very nice to experience that!! Again....difficult to answer what has been our favourite excursion !! Hard to compare since each excursion offered it's own unique experience! Walking with penguins....very awesome!! Perito Moreno Glacier....phenomenal!!! The hiking, the scenery.....breathtaking!! All of Argentina is wonderful!!! Every single guide we had on our trip was great!!! Everyone kept things interesting, funny and adventurous!!! We loved all of them!!! We cannot think of anything that needed improvements or changes!!! We had a great time in Patagonia. The assistance we received from Patricio was always timely and helpful. He was able to answer all of our questions and went out of his way to make sure we understood what we could expect. We learned about Say Hueque by searching the internet and reading travelers reviews. The highlight of the trip for us was the day trip to the Perito Moreno Glacier. We also really enjoyed our days hiking in the Fitz Roy area. Our favorite hotel was the one that was booked for us in Ushuaia. It was quaint and well located. We would certainly recommend Say Hueque to anyone considering a trip to Patagonia. Thanks again for helping us make this a great memory to see your beautiful part of the world.

Now that we are back I just thought to write to you and thank you for the amazing trip and the organisations you did. First of all, Argentina is amazing and I wish, really wish you guys know it despite the financial and political incompetence everyone complained about. About the trip: My background is biology, so you can imagine how excited I was seeing all the biological and geographical diversity in Ushuaia and then in Iguazu... Everything about the tours in Ushuaia and Iguazu was well managed and was great (even one day there was a mix up with the tours in Iguazu but at the end it was sorted and even became super special). We had no issue with the luggages etc.,. Thank you. It was an amazing trip and everything went smoothly and I hope to be back to Argentina one day again.

I felt really comfortable and well-cared for the entire trip, which meant a lot to me as a young college student traveling in a new country. Thank you for a fantastic experience.

Dear Silvia, Just feel like letting you know what an awesome time we have had in Argentina and Antarctica. A BIG THANK YOU for the organising of everything. This includes you staff, Marcella and Yuna, whom we met and others behind the scene. Seldom have I found everything so punctually. NOT once was anyone late. The tours were wonderful as was the Dinner/Tango evening. We also managed to visit o the Evita Museum and did a tour in the Opera House, what a beautiful place. Visited the old Theater which is now a bookshop, also very interesting. Then the Botanical Gardens and Rose Garden in full bloom. Also glad we kept to the hotel in Ushuaia as it was very central for us. The park in Ushuaia was a welcome change from the 3 weeks on the ship and very interesting. The walks did us good on the most beautiful spring day so far. (we were told) Hotels were clean and staff very pleasant everywhere. If it comes about, I will recommend you for ideas, service, booking etc. To finish, once again many thanks for everything.
