Itinerary

One of the most popular Indian tourist circuits is the Golden triangle, which includes Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. A tour through this route provides a great view of India’s varied landscapes and an opportunity to see many cultural jewels of the country. Delhi, the largest of the three metropolitan areas is divided mainly into two parts - New Delhi and Old Delhi. One can witness a blend of culture, sophistication and history in both New and Old Delhi. Agra is well known for housing the Taj Mahal, an epitome of eternal love and one of the seven wonders of the world. You will have an opportunity to see this great monument, explore its interiors and take pictures that last forever. Jaipur is famous for its majestic havelis, forts and markets. it is also known as the Pink City owing to the pink colored houses and buildings that dominate the city. In this tour we give you a glimpse of the rich heritage and culture of the subcontinent. This area is also a desert, so we get to see a different, drier side of india.

day 1 - Arrive in Delhi

You will be assisted with check-in at the hotel by a company representative on arrival at Delhi Airport. This is followed by sightseeing in the afternoon and an evening spent in leisure.

The sightseeing tour will include a visit to India’s tallest stone tower - Qutub Minar. We continue with a tour of some important landmarks of Delhi: Rashtrapati Bhavan- the Presidential House, Red Fort, and Jama Masjid.

We also visit India Gate, a place built specially to commemorate all the fallen soldiers who tragically lost their lives in the Anglo-Afghan war and the two World Wars.

day 2 - Delhi - Agra

We set out on a road trip to Agra in the morning followed by check in at the hotel.

Spend the afternoon soaking in the beauty of the Taj Mahal followed by shopping in the evening. The Taj Mahal is a classic example of Mughal art and is the tomb of Mumtaz, wife of Emperor Shah Jahan. It took him 22 years and over 20,000 labourers with a cost of over 32 crores to build the monument. He dedicated the entire monument to his beloved wife Mumtaz.

day 3 - Agra - Jaipur

Drive to the next destination - Jaipur in the morning. We make an en-route visit to the former capital of the Mughals, Fatehpur Sikri. After check in at the hotel, spend the remaining day at leisure.

Fatehpur Sikri formerly known as Sikrigarh is a fort made using red sandstone. The architecture blends cultures of indigenous and foreign origins in an Indo-Muslim composite style.

We also visit Chokhi Dhani, a village located near Jaipur which captures the true spirit of Rajasthan.

day 4 - Jaipur

We visit the Amber fort in the morning. This fort was built in the 16th century, and is considered to be among the oldest forts of Rajasthan. After the visit to the fort we go on an exciting elephant ride around the fort area.

Following this, we drive to the Hawa Mahal - which literally means Palace of the Breeze. We then visit the City Palace and museum in the afternoon, followed by a visit to the Jantar Mantar observatory.

Spend the evening in leisure.
