The group leader was very good and we were able to experience all the places well with little explanations/suggestions, which was exactly the right thing for me. If you expect to get every detail of every place like a museum tour, you may want to choose another option. However, after we had explored independently, the guide was able to answer most of the questions that arose.
Definitely worth the money, you become part of the locals with the travel which makes it more exciting!
Good value trip with a lot of included activities, hotels and hostels!
Good price for everything that we did and everything that was offered.
Overall I am very satisfied with the trip. Overall, I would like more days off so that I don't have to rush through everything. But our guide was great.
Great sites and sounds , good company, food recommendations were fantastic, itinerary was fast but relaxed when needed!!
Felt the trip was great value for money! We also had great experiences with customer service - everyone we spoke to was friendly and helpful in helping us get on our holiday after the first one got cancelled because of Covid. Would book with this operator again.
This was my first solo holiday and I really enjoyed my time on the trip, hit all the hot spots of Japan with enough free time every day to look around and take it all in. The food and entertainment suggestions provided by our guide Ricardo were excellent but the free time in the evening also allowed us to explore our own options. Ricardo was a great guide, knowledgeable and fun and was helpful to have around for any language barriers. The travel on public transport was easy enough, however, There is A LOT of walking, so bring some comfy shoes! All in all, a great experience for anyone's first time to Japan!
Great price for a "budget" you get way more than what you pay for.
The price was reasonable. Great deals on foods and activities.
This tour is great! It hits a number of major cities and the main tourists attractions. You get to do a lot of sightseeing and are given great food recommendations. A great mix of history and food. The tour guide is super helpful and knowledgeable.
