Spain Escorted Tours and Guided Trips

Meagan is amazing. She was fun, full of energy and professional, all the while being a pro at managing expectations. The tour was as wonderful as I expected as this was our second Luxury Gold experience. Carlos, our driver was kind and professional. We felt very safe in his good hands "on the wheel". Thanks Meagan and Carlos! We have so many fabulous memories!

Jessica, our tour leader, was fantastic. We were a small group of 9 travelers. She ensured everyone understood each days length, difficulty, stops and destination. She waited for the slower travelers and ensured everyone completed each days journey. She also arranged lunches and dinners in advance each day which made the trip run smooth and seamlessly. Well done Explore!

Full days of activity. Our guide was very well prepared each day and knowledgeable of all of our destinations. Longer stays in some cities would have been preferable. The transportation was excellent. The hotels overall were good.

I loved seeing so many cities. I would have liked another night in Evora at the convent instead of two nights in Lisbon. I appreciate the organization and pre purchased entries to the museums etc. The lunch with the musicians was really special. More events like that would be welcome rather than cathedrals. I enjoyed the local guides and their knowledge. The hotels were wonderful and amazing breakfasts. The dinners out were very rich! Perhaps some dinners could be at the hotels or nearby so you don’t have to get back on the bus. In the evening

I booked this trip very last minute with less than a week before the departure date and Explore were as always great in sorting out my flights and the arrangements. This trip was a great mix of cities and walking in the lovely countryside through some idyllic little villages. The cities were all different and absolutely beautiful and all the hotels so well situated for walking to all main sights. Craig our tour guide did an excellent job of making sure everything was well organised and thus the arrangements all ran like clockwork. Craig went the extra mile in showing us things that were not on the itinerary and really made the trip so enjoyable. He gave us a wealth of information on the history, culture and also the ways of life in the area where his house is. His passion and great humour made it so much more interesting. I especially loved all the little Spanish villages we visited on the walking days and eating delicious food with the locals in the village restaurants. All in all a really great trip once again from Explore 👍

Is a fantastic way to start knowing Europe if is your first time. The Travel Directors and tour guides are great explaning the culture and food, plus knowledge of history is deep.
