Bert was a fantastic guide - nothing too much trouble, very patient, knowledgeable and organised. He even made sure we got our boat tickets to visit another part of the island on the rest day - which was above and beyond his responsibilities. The hikes were great, island very beautiful and good variety of landscape. We also had bonus of the wonderful Ester - a trainee guide of very high caliber. Group camaraderie was fab - it’s a holiday I will always treasure

I thoroughly enjoyed my journey from Madrid, through Portugal, and into Morocco, including the desert extension. The group leaders were fantastic, and the itinerary was thoughtfully organized. Our visit of Ronda was extraordinary. From the moment we stepped out our cruise ship, Thomas was there to welcome us to Malaga. Before leaving for Ronda, he took us on a short walk through downtown Malaga and we felt the pride he has for his own town. The drive to Ronda is an 1hour 1/2 and Thomas took the times to point out all the local highlights along the way. Once in Ronda, Thomas made sure that we were aware of the history and the beauty of the area. He also made sure we had a good lunch with a spectacular view overlooking the gorge. Overall our excursion to Ronda was delightful not only because of the beautiful scenery and the interesting history but largely because of Thomass considerate guidance throughout. We would highly recommend to do an excursion with Thomas Liedtke. Among all the guide we had, he is the best by far.
