    I did the EBC & Kala Pathar trek with Nepal Climbing team in Oct-23, I wanted to write in a review about my experience with this travel and expedition company. I had been planning to go to EBC for a few years now and finally it all came together in 2023, i was going through a lot of blogs, websites and youtube videos before deciding on the operator for this trip. Thats when this company was referred by a friend who did the EBC trek in the past. Right from the first communication with Krishna Subedi, the team was very professional, patient in answering myriad of questions i had about the trip. Krishna gave a call and walked me through the itinerary, cost and the preparation that i need to do to be able to experience a nice trek. Even though i had spoken with Krishna a few times, I was still skeptical prior to the trip worried about arrangements and the over all planning around the trip. But as soon as i landed in Kathmandu, I was escorted from the airport and was absolutely taken care of throughout the entire duration of the trip. The hotel arrangements in Thamel was very good, the crew also guided and helped me around the Thamel markets to get some of the hiking gears. Krishna introduced me to the guide, who spoke good English and Hindi. And then the trip started, the arrangements were perfect, we were fortunate on the weather part, no delays in getting to Lukla and then onwards we were able to follow the itinerary - all the villages and tea houses we stayed. The hotel and arrangements were top class. Clean and hygienic tea houses were provided. The guide Neema Sherpa was very knowledgeable, courteous and very friendly. He answered all the questions i had, spent a lot of time clicking pictures and videos and he was a very good friend through out the journey. And after the return to Kathmandu, again the stay provided by the company was really good and a hospitable place with nice food. My entire experience due to these professional arrangements was very smooth. Over all i had a fantastic trekking experience through the help of the guide Neema and the team led by Krishna, i would highly recommend any one to engage Krishna and team for a terrific trekking experience.

    I did the ABC Trek in December 2019. Was an amazing experience and the trek was stunningly beautiful. My guide Deepen had a great knowledge of the mountains and was very attentive to my needs. He had a good understanding of what different clients are capable of after watching them on day 1 and then made sure the trek was suitably challenging but not out of their comfort zone. I always felt that safety was a priority and when extreme bad weather came in when only a few hours from our ABC destination, I was comfortable with the decision not to risk it. No one went up the mountain that day. The trek was fun, heaps to see, lots of people to meet along the way and Deepen always discussed the plan for the following day the night before, so I felt engaged and knew what to expect. Overall a great trip, would highly recommend but make sure you take some very warm clothes if travelling in winter. I'm thinking myself of planning another trek.

    I recently completed the Island Peak climbing expedition and it was nothing short of incredible! From the start to the summit, everything was well-organized, safe, and filled with unforgettable moments. Dendi, my guide, was an absolute star. His professionalism and experience were evident from day one. Not only did he guide me through the trek and the climb with expertise, but he also shared so much knowledge about the culture, the landscapes, and climbing techniques. His calm demeanor and encouragement, especially during the more challenging sections, gave me the confidence I needed to push through. Whether it was pacing ourselves on the way up, helping with gear, or ensuring we stayed safe on the glacier, Dendi was exceptional. Prakash, the manager and owner of this tour company, was also fantastic. From my first inquiry, he made the whole process so smooth. His communication was clear, and he made sure all my questions were answered promptly. I felt like I was in great hands from the get-go. The logistics of the trip, including permits, transportation, and accommodations, were all taken care of seamlessly. Prakash checked in regularly, which made me feel valued and well-supported throughout the experience. The Island Peak itself was a thrilling adventure. The beauty of the Khumbu region combined with the excitement of scaling a 6,000-meter peak made it one of the most memorable experiences of my life. The views from the summit were simply breathtaking – standing there with the mighty Everest in the backdrop was beyond words.

His deep respect for the environment was evident in his commitment to leaving no trace and preserving the natural beauty of the Himalayas. In addition to his technical skills as a guide, Mingma's cheerful personality and sense of humor made the trek a truly enjoyable and fun experience. Whether we were sharing stories around the campfire or laughing together during breaks, his positive attitude and infectious enthusiasm lifted our spirits and created a sense of camaraderie among the group. In conclusion, trekking to Annapurna Base Camp with Mingma was a life-changing adventure that exceeded all my expectations. His expertise, professionalism, and genuine kindness made the journey safe and enjoyable, while his passion for the mountains and love for his homeland added a special touch to the experience.     Great experience with Khum ji in coordinating the trek,travel in Kathmandu and to Lukla and was lucky to have the best porter/guide Dendi who twice summitted Everest and provided all the help and know about the area. Although lost a few days for not a seat on plane to Lukla, it was a great experience overall.
