This is our first private tour and I must say it met all our expectations. Our driver/guide Carlo took very good care of us, told us informative and amusing stories along the way and took us to wonderful restaurants. He made sure all our needs our taken cared of. In Sicily especially I think the private tour is a big advantage as there are many places where only small vehicles can go through. We made the right decision in choosing this tour.

A splendid week of walking and sight-seeing in this lovely part of Sicily around Etna in a small friendly group with an inspiring tour leader. Well, I'm a science teacher and I got to see LAVA, like ACTUAL LAVA spewing from the top of a volcano! We got to spend time in places that are far enough out in Italy that it did not feel overly touristy. What I love about all G trips are the adventurous travelers who take these tours. This is my third tour with G and everyone comes to them with a sense of fun and adventure. Also, we were on Mt. Etna for a rare event- cloud rings coming off the top. It made international news and we saw it in person!
