The Insight chosen restaurants were not very good. Not what we would typically have on these tours. This is our fifth tour. One hotel was hot, but the others were fine. Was disappointed in Palermo. The tour director gave great advice on places to see in our free time and was very nice. Wish we saw less touristy places and more places like Grottle. That was the only place there weren’t multiple tours going on at the same time.

The itinerary itself was excellent, we enjoyed every single destination visited and the guides were very good. The only complaint we have is that you advertise 4-5 star hotels, which they are, but we never stayed once in the "good" rooms. Most of these hotels had great views on one side but we're always put in rooms with a view of the parking lot or another building behind the hotel. For the price we pay, that's borderline false advertising.
