Catania Tours in July 2026

This was a great tour with just the right amount of people.It was good to have our bags delivered to our hotel rooms.The tour leader Loredana was fantastic very knowledgeable about all the places we visited.Lalla went out of her way to accommodate us we couldn’t ask for a better tour leader.While Gianni our driver made us feel safe and got us to our destinations.

This trip was a thoroughly enjoyable experience in all respects. It has a well thought-out and interesting itinerary, good hotels and seamless travel arrangements. The tour gives sufficient time to explore many of Sicily’s architectural and cultural wonders, as well as spending several hours on Mt Etna and walking in the Zingaro Nature Reserve. Our guide Francesco was outstanding – very friendly, informative and helpful. At some of the sites we had local guides who were also very good. Our enjoyment of the trip was greatly enhanced by our fellow travellers who gelled extremely well as a group and were excellent company throughout the trip.

A great experience with a charming and knowledgeable tour leader and excellent driver of our coach. Quite strenuous walking terrain but much history to enjoy and learn, Accommodation varied and excellent as were our local dining experiences. Excellent trip .. thoroughly recommend.

We saw a great deal of Sicily- which we could not have done on our own. We felt very safe and the other passengers on the tour were all great company.

This was a trip worth waiting for! Planned pre-pandemic and rescheduled a couple of times but the communication with Massimo and TR team reps was supportive and very easy to work with. The food tour was great! Could have had a bit more variety of food tastings. By day 3 we had the similar menu duplicated at each stop. The wine offerings were not just sips but full glasses and so many too! Our first overnight stay was at a beautiful resort property (Hotel Ariston) Excellent accommodations. The second stay was our least favorite (Hotel Garfallo). No hot water resulting in a cold shower, the bathroom walls were moldy and there wasn’t an elevator so going up two levels of stairs with multiple bags was a bit of a challenge. Our third property was in the heart of downtown Palermo with Hotel Politema. Nice boutique style property with a wonderful breakfast. Each of our guides spoke English well. They all took the time to answer questions and provide added local history

The tour explores around beautiful Sicily's historical towns and cities. Sicily has so much to bring to the table from local foods, history, culture and scenery and more. Look forward to visiting again!
