We had a fantastic time and enjoyed having access to some of the smaller, less travelled islands. We had experiences we wouldn't have had on a self-guided trip and the opportunity to meet other travellers (I actually added a week of travel in another country with a friend I met on the boat!). This was a cool way to experience Greece and I am excited to try other G Adventures tours in the future!
Pseudo (only sailed a bit because the main mast was broken) sailing the Aegian islands was a wonderful way to visit the area and meet new people. My overall experience other than a few things regarding cleanliness and upkeep of the vessel (sails, stains, smells) was excellent and I am left with many wonderful memories.
Great way to island hop the Greek islands. Beautiful places, great companionship with other passengers. Everyone chipped in to make lunches, shop for food and clean up etc. Great relaxing trip! CEO on the first week of our trip was exceptional.
We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure aboard the Thalassa. The crew was stellar, the food was amazing and fresh, the seas were smooth so we had no issues with motion sickness. The ship was beautiful and clean. The only issue we encountered was the fumes from the engine room, since our cabin was adjacent to it. It was the strongest on the first night after being in port.
I had an exceptional, once-in-a-lifetime and unique experience on the G Adventures Walking in the Greek Islands tour. I loved the experience of not being the 'Chief Experience Officer' of the holiday for once, and was truely able to relax and enjoy myself. We had an amazing guide, Sapfo, who made the holiday. She took into consideration all the groups abilities and what they wanted from the holiday. She was also able to adapt the itinerary at very short notice when our sunset cruise was cancelled due to high winds.
