Upon arriving in Kathmandu, we were warmly greeted by Mr. Bharat and transferred to our hotel. The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla was breathtaking and set the tone for an unforgettable trip. The trek to Namche and the rest day were well-planned, with a hike to Hotel Everest View that offered stunning views of Himalayas including Mt Everest and more.
The highlight of the trek was undoubtedly the journey to Everest Base Camp and Kalapattar. The scenery was awe-inspiring, and the team ensured that we were safe and comfortable throughout the trek. The Trek was excellent - the scenery was fantastic with the clear weather in mid-October. The trekking was sometimes challenging, but never too hard for fairly fit "almost-60-year-olds". The views of Everest and its surrounding peaks, especially from Tengboche Monastery, were fantastic. If you don't feel the need, or have the time, to go all the way to Everest Base Camp, this is the trek to take!

My guide Raju was spectacular. He really knew how to get things done in the tea houses. The logistics are all taken care for you, no worries. I made some really good friends along the route that ended up staying in the same place multiple nights and had a lot of great conversation. The views of the hike were great and I think this is a great selection over EBC and Annapurna.
