day 1Drive from Kathmandu to Machha Khola by local bus

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning. Board a local bus or hop on an off road vehicle to Arughat, located 138 kilometers away from the capital city. Enjoy views of lush hills, and mountain along the way.
The road gets bumpy after either Dhading Besi or Gorkha Bazaar, depending on which route you will take. With hotels as well as stores selling a variety of items, Arughat Bazaar is a sizable, well-kept area. From here, you will take a local bus or a jeep and drive for approximately three hours to reach the final destination of the day.
