Upon arriving in Kathmandu, we were warmly greeted by Mr. Bharat and transferred to our hotel. The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla was breathtaking and set the tone for an unforgettable trip. The trek to Namche and the rest day were well-planned, with a hike to Hotel Everest View that offered stunning views of Himalayas including Mt Everest and more. The highlight of the trek was undoubtedly the journey to Everest Base Camp and Kalapattar. The scenery was awe-inspiring, and the team ensured that we were safe and comfortable throughout the trek. We took a helicopter ride back to Kathmandu from Gorekshep and it was an adventure we will never forget. The Trek was excellent - the scenery was fantastic with the clear weather in mid-October. The trekking was sometimes challenging, but never too hard for fairly fit "almost-60-year-olds". The views of Everest and its surrounding peaks, especially from Tengboche Monastery, were fantastic. If you don't feel the need, or have the time, to go all the way to Everest Base Camp, this is the trek to take!
