Beautiful trip full of activities a lot of running around. But again I was very disappointed about how try the Delta was. I was looking forward to it about Safari and it was not provided. I spent a lot of money on this trip and felt I was kind of ripped off at the end. Other accommodations were really very nice. But again I should?ve been warned prior to the trip that they were suffering. A great drought. I would?ve made other changes. I felt that the adventures were National Geographic should?ve relocated us to the northern part of the Delta, which apparently did have water. That was really very disappointing

It was a great trip with fantastic game viewing and knowledgeable guides. The accommodation was unique & comfortable, but Rhino lodge at Kosi bay was the poorest -the rooms etc were lovely but there was a decidedly run down aspect to the site and the dinning room service was notable lacking -2-3hr wait after ordering but the food when it came was fine -very understaffed and pushed, not helped by sharing facilities with an inebriated wedding group. Wernan the guide was competent, knowledgeable and did all he could to facilitate the experience -including re driving thro the mountains so we could see Gods Window etc as our first journey was thro thick fog etc with no visibility. Great trip, especially for the kids.

What really made this trip special was how much variety it packed into 12 days. It never felt repetitive. One day we were out on a game drive in Kruger National Park, watching elephants cross the road right in front of our vehicle. Next, we were in a completely different setting, standing in front of Victoria Falls, feeling the spray on our faces. It was surreal to experience such different landscapes and wildlife in such a short span of time. The weather also helped. It was nearly perfect throughout the tour. Mornings were cool and crisp, great for early safaris, and by afternoon it would warm up just enough without being uncomfortable. Every place felt timed just right. Our guide knew when to slow down and when to move on so we never missed anuything. Cape Town, especially, stood out. Seeing the Table Mountain was unlike anything I’d seen before. We took the cable car up, which was an optional tour and the views of the city and coastline were incredible. There was also a nice balance of cultural activities. We also did Winelands tour which yet was another amaing experience. I had some concerns before booking, but everything, from airport pickups to hotel check-ins was butter smooth. I felt safe and taken care of. You should surely give this one a try if you're traveling to South Africa for thr first time.

This wine estate came to existence in 1962 when Isaac Schrijver was granted a piece of land by the then Governor of the Cape, Simon Van Der Stel, and it has since grown into an iconic South African wine estate it is today. My friend and I are both retired teachers in our late 60s. We’ve been to Europe a few times so we wanted to try something new and off the usual tourist path. This tour of South Africa and Dubai was a great choice. We appreciated that the pace wasn’t too fast. There were days with early starts, especially for safaris, but it was worth it. Kruger National Park was incredible. We saw a herd of elephants. Seeing a baby elephant brought tears of joy! The guides knew exactly where to look and explained everything clearly. Both of us are fans of good wine, so we chose to do an optional tour of the winelands in Stellenbosch. We tried a variety of wines and cheeses. It was surely a wholesome day. Dubai was something else entirely. So modern and so clean. We saw Burj Khalifa and wow, it's massive and elegant in a way. We were comfortable the whole way. I’d say this was a great trip, and you can try it, too.
