Among all the routes used to climb the mighty Kilimanjaro, the Lemosho Route is a relatively new one. This route has less traffic compared with other routes and a high summit success rate at the same time. Join us on this seven-day, private, guided expedition and conquer Africa's highest mountain.
We will pick you up from your hotel or accommodation in Moshi and drive you to Londorossi Gate on the first day of the tour (one night's pre-tour accommodation included in the tour price). Hit the trail after all the formalities are done.
Spend the first two days travelling through a rainforest to reach Shira Ridge after which comes the Shira Plateau. Unlike the popular Machame Route, which only passes through a section of the plateau, the Lemosho Route crosses the entirety of the plain from west to east. The routs climbs upward from the plateau via Lava Tower, Barranco and Barafu (known as the southern circuit) to reach Kilimanjaro summit.
In addition to having less traffic, this route is considered by many to be the most scenic route to the top of the mountain. Enjoy panoramic vistas of the mountain from different angles during the trip. We will drop you off at your accommodation in Moshi after the tour is over.
Be ready for an exciting 3-day safari trip in two adjoining national parks. Visit Tsavo West National Park, located in the Coast Province of Kenya, and see a variety of African wildlife like never before. Move on to Tsavo East National Park and explore its red-soil plains. See elephants, rhinos, lions, giraffes and other animals and birds in their natural habitat.
Take a guided nature walk to Mzima Springs, whose resident animals include hippos and crocodiles along with different species of birds. Visit Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, spread over a 90-sq-km area at the base of Ngulia Hills, and learn more about endangered black rhinos, whose population has rebounded in recent years.
Set off from the Berea, learning about Durban’s origins and take in the skyline from our favourite lookout point. We then make our way to the commuter’s daily crossroad, Warwick Triangle, indulging our senses in the vibrant diversity of the Victoria, Muti and Early Morning Markets.
Engage with citizens as you explore the arcades that further criss-cross the city, and educate your palate with a true testament of Durban’s Indian culinary heritage- the “bunny chow”. Stretch your legs with a walk around the historic city centre, from City Hall to the inner city gardens and end off the trip with a scenic drive along Durban’s harbour, Africa’s busiest port.
Skip the taxi line with our private airport shuttle! Our professional driver picks you up at the arrival area at the airport and takes you to your hotel or residential areas in Durban, including central business-district areas, Durban beachfront, Umhlanga, Berea, Morningside, Musgrave and other areas within Durban.
Enjoy a comfortable and private ride.
Our own shuttle services also include picking you up from your hotel or residential areas in Durban to King Shaka international airport.
Distance from Durban to King Shaka International airport may range from 30 minutes to 1 hour subject to traffic conditions.
All bike tours are guided and include the use of mountain bikes and cycling helmets. Multi-day rides are fully supported with a sag wagon. Bicycle tour can be the centre-piece of your African adventure or added as an extension to any itinerary.
The trail around Africa‘s tallest mountain and highest volcano is 230 miles long and involves 16000 ft of climbing. It takes us through solitary rainforests, fertile fields of crop and through wild, dry acacia rich savannah, which is the home of the Maasai.
The tracks around the cloud shrouded, snow-capped roof of Africa are mainly dusty, sometimes rocky, with a few asphalt roads. We spend a night in a Maasai cultural village to get to know their customs, songs and dishes. On a safari in Arusha National Park see some of Africa´s amazing wildlife.

The magic and mystique of Morocco come to life over nine fascinating days exploring the impressive imperial cities of North Africa’s last kingdom. Visit the awe-inspiring cities of Marrakech, Fez, Meknes, Rabat, Beni Mellal and Casablanca. Discover the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Volubilis and experience the rustic charms of the Atlas Mountains’ market towns. Accommodation is in choice hotels on a half-or full-board basis, with plenty of opportunities to savour the best in traditional Moroccan cuisine, including a spectacular dinner show in a historical palace in the Marrakech Medina.
Are you hungry for an adventure of a lifetime? If yes, then we have the perfect trip for you. Radically different from our normal tours, this eight-day, private trip will take you to the deserts and canyons of Morocco, where you will traverse a barren landscape composed of dunes, rugged hills, dry riverbeds and desert oases while spending nights in camps far away from civilization.
Start the journey from Marrakech and cover the Black Desert followed by the dunes of Ramlia and Ouzina. Explore the famous dunes of Merzouga in an off-road vehicle and travel past the Dades and Tinghir valleys. Your adventure comes to an end in Marrakech after you have visited the Todra canyons.
Accompanying you during this trip will be an experienced tour guide. Camels will be available in certain locations to ensure that you can continue the trip when you are tired walking. Items needed for camping, like food, sleeping bags, and tents, will be carried along and you will use local guesthouses for your evening shower. There is also an option to stay in hotels at some destinations.
The Rongai route is the only route that approaches Kilimanjaro from the north, close to the Kenyan border. Though gaining popularity amongst climbers, Rongai has low traffic. It is the preferred route for those looking for an alternative to the crowded Marangu route, for those who would like a more remote hike, and for those who are climbing during the rainy season (the North side receives less precipitation).
The Rongai route is one of the easiest route up to Kilimanjaro summit and it joins the Marangu route at Kibo hut. The minimum number of days required for this route is six days, and seven days are recommended. We have designed the trip for 7 days as that will allow for proper acclimatization on the mountain.
Wildlife can be seen on the lower slopes such as buffalo's, Elephants, Baboons and monkeys together with different species of birds.
Although the scenery is not as varied as the western routes, the Rongai route makes up for this by passing through true wilderness areas for days before joining the Marangu route at Kibo camp. On the way down this route goes together with the Marangu route.
The Rongai route as such is a moderately difficult route and relatively easier than other routes up Kilimanjaro. It is therefore highly recommended, especially for those with less backpacking experience, as the probability of reaching the summit will be higher.

This 6-day tour showcases the best of Tanzania wildlife and will take you through the Northern Safari Circuit in Tanzania. It includes Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater Conservancy.
A visit to the Ngorongoro Crater is an experience of a lifetime. There are few places that have wildlife densities and variety at this level. It is not unusual to see the big five in one day! It also boasts the most amazing setting with a backdrop of the 600m/1968ft high crater wall.
Lake Manyara National Park provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded here and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration, as well as other large waterbirds such as pelicans, cormorants, and storks.
There is more to the Serengeti than large mammals. Gaudy agama lizards and rock hyraxes scuffle around the surfaces of the park’s isolated granite koppies. A full 100 varieties of dung beetle have been recorded, as have 500-plus bird species, ranging from the outsized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird of the open grassland to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the Lobo Hills.
