South Asia Food Trips

This trip exceeded all expectations! It was fantastic! The itinerary was varied and interesting and well thought out! The only fly in the ointment was the villa we were due to visit on Capri was shut, so some forward planning would have helped but this does not detract from a great trip, which would not have been possible without Matteo, the tour leader, who knew the area like the back of his hand and had a charm and personality which endeared him to the whole group!

So enjoyable to see all the small villages throughout France. Our tour director Yannick was very knowledgeable and so enthusiastic about every different town. Ireally learned quite a bit of history. My wife and I were really impressed with the French countryside. Giverny is not too be missed. The scheduled dinners were very good and such a great opportunity to get to know the other members of the tour. It was a small group only 18 and everyone was so friendly and personable. My only request would be one of two more formal wine tastings.

easy starts ( 9.00 am dep) sure helps , be prepared to walk .. Porto is very hilly, our tour director was the best 10/10 ( Helder this is for you )

It’s a fabulous trip. Our Tour Director Helder Almeida was the best we’ve ever had in any trip we’ve done anywhere in the world. Top class! And our driver Alfredo was incredible.

Julienne our lead was fantastic and catered for all levels in the group plus her is such a nice guy. huge thanks The accommodation for the first few nights was just not so warm and friendly, and felt a bit down beat generally, plus we really could have done with more fruit at breakfast table. But, the accommodation in the second place was super duper... we all loved it what a difference on every level.

Learned so much about history of Portugal. Enjoyed traveling through and seeing the different areas of Portugal - big cities of Lisbon and Porto; the beautiful Douro valley with its vineyards, olive groves, and cork trees; and smaller places like Monsarez, Evora (walled city with its Roman Temple) and Coimbra university. We were surprised by the lovely Algarve coastline & wished we could have stayed there another day. Such a wonderful trip.
