East Asia Mountains Trips

A fabulous trip with some truly spectacular scenery on the hikes. The camping was superb, a real highlight, as were the hotels and itinerary. My only 2 critiques would be that the 3rd and 4th hikes were classed as moderate, but at altitude and in the heat, they were quite challenging - although totally worth it! Also, the houseboat was a little grubby and the delicious Keralan cuisine a little watered down in terms of spice to cater for a more international palette! Kerala is a dream and thank you to Tinu for keeping our large group in check and showing off his beautiful home state to us all. We had a fabulous trip, our love affair with India continues and we can’t wait for our next adventure with Explore!

An absolutely magical Switzerland trip - flawlessly organised down to the smallest detail. Our travel director was one in a million: knowledgeable, kind, informative and genuinely exceptional. A superb bus driver who handled Switzerland's mountain roads with total skill and ease - a truly unforgettable experience. I couldn't recommend this trip more highly.

This was our first Explore! trip. The guide was local and extremely knowledgable. We were very well looked after. Everyone bonded very quickly and we met some lovely people. The accommodation was good, last hotel excellent, and transport arranged with no hitches. Will book another trip, for sure.

Fantastic trip with Collette to Nashville. Loved our stay at Gaylord Opryland Resort. Loved walking down ****** Tonk Row in Nashville!! Lots of different experiences from Dollywood to Biltmore and Smokey Mountains to downtown Asheville! Lots to do and see. Tour guide, Lindsey was absolutely great! She kept it interesting every day!!

In late November 2025, four friends and I from India did the Marangu Route with Aardvark Expeditions, and it was a great experience every step of the way. In the weeks leading up to our climb, we exchanged many emails with the Aardvark Expeditions sales staff. Their quick responses and thorough explanations were what persuaded us to book with them. While climbing, our guide (Gabriel and Fred) were extremely professional. They adapted their pace to ours, provided encouraging words and advice to help us acclimatise, and made sure we were safe at all times. The food that Erik and Abuu prepared was another highlight. The meals were fresh, filling and served to us with a smile. Aardvark Expeditions made our first Kili attempt feel possible, secure and fun. Highly recommended!
