Our leader Peter is the very reason for recommending this trip to my friends. He is very knowledgeable concerning this area. He is obviously passionate for his job and is always eager to share with you. During the hike whenever there are obstacles he was there to safeguard our safety and watched every step we took. We are certainly in good hands.

Our guide, Sapfo, was truly excellent. Without doubt the best group leader you could wish for. She was interested and engaged with everyone in the group. She was knowledgeable. She was super organized and nothing was a chore. Our group dinners every night were a big success. Her restaurant choices were excellent. Our driver, Georgiou, was also really great. He kept the Mercedes mini bus immaculate. He was a careful and considerate driver and you always felt safe even on the tight back roads of the Mani Peninsula. Itinerary is good except that Monemvasia should be included as part of the tour proper and Sparta dropped from the itinerary. Make sure you take the optional extra of visiting Monemvasia if offered. It is well worth it. Overall I would say the tour is best described as “very full on”. A lot of the ancient and medieval sites have many many steps and some of the stones are very polished from so many people stepping on them over thousands of years. So I would recommend wearing hiking shoes if you have them also also bringing walking poles if you have them. Both will help with climbs, of which there are quite a few as I say. Overall the accommodation was ok (but not brilliant) except for Hotel Galaxy (they need to axe Het Galaxy). The Pantheon City Hotel was the best. Our group got on well, and I think that was in large part due to our guide Sapfo.

The trip was very well planned, all the accommodations, luggage transfer, meals and GPx tracks were exactly as stated in the itinerary. It's nice to have such a stress free trip given all the different cities and towns we hiked too.

Good personal hygiene (like client hand washing facilities) was provided frequently on Kilimanjaro trek. Good food was provided for all diet choices. I would have liked an extra day between the Kilimanjaro trek and the 3 day safari.

An unforgettable week exploring the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Staying at the Agriturismo was an authentic way to experience the quieter side of the coast and maintain some distance from the inevitable tourist crowds that flock to the coastal hotspots. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking and the walks, activities and visits were all well chosen and varied. As others have said ... a good level of fitness is required. Our guide for the week (Genarro) was first class. His passion, stories and good humour brought the region’s history, culture, and landscape to life. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. My gluten intolerance was a little bit awkward at times, but I was never hungry and the family were very thoughtful. Torta Caprese is a new favourite! The gardens and surrounding area were lovely and peaceful. The pasta, mozarella and tiramisu class and pizza evening were both very good ... the pizza evening in San Lazarro was hilarious and the (gf) pizzas are amazing! The day trip to Herculaneum and Pompeii was excellent. The small group format is perfect for this kind of trip. There were ten of us on my trip and with shared interests and enthusiasms it was very easy to get along, have a laugh and make some lovely new friends. I have no hesitation in recommending this trip to anyone who loves walking, great views, and genuine cultural experiences.

Holiday was brilliant. Tour guide was great, food was good and walks were interesting. A couple of improvements however. Trip notes need updating for last walk. It was not flat or easy! Lots of uphills and tiring sand dune walking. Loved it but not all of group enjoyed it. Transport from airport very poor. Had to wait 1.5 hrs when we arrived - in end had to ask a local to ring local number for us as we couldn’t get through. Transport picking us up for the airport was 35 mins late. Very stressful pickups 😕
