Central America Tours in October 2025

The Baltic Capitals trip was a great introduction to the three Baltic States, with nice centrally located hotels in easy walking distance of most of the main attractions of each city along with numerous options for food. Our guide, Inna, was fantastic all the way through, keeping everything running, giving us lots of information about the countries we passed though along with her personal recollections of living through the fall of the USSR and Estonian independence which really helped us understand the history of the region. Inna was also very good at suggesting options for free time and dinners, along with helping people get to more esoteric places of interest. There were some fairly long travelling days in between the main cities, but that's fairly normal and expected for a trip like this, these long drives were broken up with stops in places for lunch or attractions such as the Hill of Crosses. All in all a very good trip with lots to see, lots to take in, good food, good beer, and a fantastic guide.

Our tour guy Mohamed was superb. Please ask for him, his knowledge and willingness to help were incredible. Except for the places we ate that were not included in the tour, where they asked us to pay $15 without beverages, everything was outstanding.

My best Explore holiday to date. The walking was fantastic and I mean all the walks, the views, the sea, and the weather. Nebil the guide was excellent, knowledgeable and fun. The food as expected was very good. I will go back and undertake the Lycian way.

Rifa our leader was great over Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan. The over all trip gave a great insight to Central Asia. A number of the countries it would be great to explore them further. As they had so much to offer.

Walks were varied & were done in a logical manner with easier ones first gradually increasing in length & severity. All the walks were capable of being done by an experienced walker. Our guide, Bert, was very knowledgeable & also ensured that all the guests were comfortable going at their own pace.

We have just returned from Jordan which exceeded our expectations. The tour had been well planned so that we saw and experienced the amazing sites and scenery . Petra was stunning , the first glimpse of the Treasury was breathtaking as were the hikes up to The Monastery and the End of the world coffee bar. Floating on the Dead Sea was soothing and relaxing and camping in Wadi Rum, looking up at the stars and feeling the stillness was a memorable experience. The hotels were comfortable and well placed and our tour guide Abdallah was kind and knowledgeable with a quick sense of humour and endless patience. He was very happy to answer any questions! I would absolutely recommend travelling to Jordan with Explore as this was one of our best trips.
