Central America Trekking and Hiking Trips

It was a guided trip across the country to showcase the culture and activities of Costa Rican culture. Breakfast and accommodations was all covered under our trip while certain add on activities were payed by us directly on the tour. There were 30 of us in all to get to know each other so aside from getting to know the country you also got to do it with potential new friend circles from around the world.

I went on the Viva Costa Rica trip with Contiki and it was honestly the best decision I have ever made! Our trip manager and driver were absolutely incredible and made the whole experience so smooth, fun and stress-free. Every day was packed with amazing experiences and the whole trip was perfectly organised. I met the most incredible group of people and made memories that will stay with me forever. I already wish I could do it all over again and I’m definitely planning another Contiki trip in the future. I couldn’t recommend it enough!

What an epic adventure. The blend of nature and activities v beach and relaxing was perfect, great plan and organisation to the trip. Both our tour guide Oscar and driver Santos were amazing. A huge shout out to Oscar for everything - the best Contiki guide i’ve had and felt like he was part of the crew and made our trip so memorable. We loved the add ons and appreciated the added recommendations for free time. We all stayed together in those free times which was lovely to see. A beautiful country, crazy fun activities, wild nights and awesome people Thanks for a great adventure!

I loved every moment of my trip! This was my first time travelling on a guided trip and it was a brilliant way to enjoy all that Costa Rica has to offer. The service from Chris prior to departure was excellent and the communication with Jeffery whilst en-route was reassuring (we had a hiccup with our bags missing our connecting flight to San Jose) and we slept well knowing our bags would reach us before leaving San Jose. Once the trip had begun it was quickly evident that Jeffery is a sensationally good guide, and with the aid of his support team we were well fed, watered and entertained throughout the trip.
