Unfortunately, our amazing holiday in Italy came to an end! It was definitely one of our best holidays ever, thank you so much for your perfect organisation, planning and detailed explanation. This trip was incredible. Our group was composed of only 6 people so it felt like a custom tour rather than one of the typical organized larger groups you see in Italy. This was definitely the highlight for us as we got to spend a lot of quality time throughout the week and had the guide all to ourselves! We would go back in a heart beat! Thank you!!

If youre tired of travelling with busloads of fellow tourists then a small boutique tour with this local travel specialist is the perfect solution. Chantelle and Giovanni have put together a wonderful introduction to the region they call home based around the beautiful town and province Ascoli Piceno. I was travelling solo for the first time, but they made it entirely comfortable and made me feel very welcome. They take groups of up to 8 (ours was 6) and because you base yourself in Ascoli there is no packing and unpacking every day. Each day is a mix of wineries, culture, cooking classes, long lunches, local sites and beautiful views. Theres plenty of time for yourself, and Chantelle and Giovanni take the time to show you anything that you have a particular interest in. If you want to do some extra shopping theyll happily show you their favourite places. This is relaxed touring with a personalised touch where you are meeting the winemakers or producers. This is where the tour operators live and work, so they have relationships with the people you meet that go beyond herding people in with the hope they will buy merchandise. Every experience feels very authentic. Ascoli itself was a great base for the tour. As a solo traveller it felt very safe. I was completely comfortable wandering around by myself in my free time.

This tour was without doubt the best tour we have done. Giovanni and Chantelle have put together a package that is second to none. Their intimate local knowledge enables them to take you to amazing places that are not crowded and generally not on most tourists agendas. They have partnered with some exceptional people that own the restaurants and wineries that you visit enabling you to have personable experiences and hear their interesting stories first hand. The accommodation in Ascoli Piceno was superb. The hotel staff were lovely and happy to help with anything you might need. Its location was also exceptional, allowing you to easily stroll into the main city piazza and soak up the atmosphere of the locals living life the Italian way. The food we experienced with Giovanni and Chantelle was absolutely brilliant, in lovely small boutique wineries prepared and served by the owners to first class restaurants with magnificent views and ambiance. The small group enabled the flexibility to accommodate individual preferences. Giovanni and Chantelle have a genuinely warm and friendly style that ensures you feel very comfortable in their company. A perfect tour, well done Giovanni and Chantelle, couldn't recommend it highly enough.

I never thought I could learn so much while on a vacation. This trip truly feeds your stomach and your brain! Above all our cooking class was incredibly fun and we even got to make stuffed olives which turned out to be quite good! In the end we felt the value of the tour was very high and would like to return in 2019 for a longer trip. Thank you so much for making us discovered this wonderful part of Italy, we will be back!
