Excellent

Many highlights every day. A taste of Europe.Days are long often starting 7am on bus, ending after 8 pm. Tiring but worth it for a 70 yr old. Very, very well organized and timed.. Highly recommend.

We had a good time.If you are elderly, take some hyper comfortable shoes for a lot of walking.Good mobility is important. The tour is fast -paced,but there are breaks and some things-optional trips- you may want to skip.

Excellent

Overall, this was an amazing trip to be introduced to Europe and experience a little bit of everything there. If you are thinking about opting out of a tour service like this and figuring it all out on your own, I would advise against it. There are a lot of cultural and social differences between these countries that a cursory internet search will not make you aware of. The tour guide's guidance is really what allowed us to be safe and not clueless while exploring, and the tour also highlighted a lot of the activities and locations that were actually worth doing. I feel like I truly maximized my time in Europe and did not waste a moment. At this price point, I doubt you would be able to find anything as good. It was truly life-changing, and on the flight back I dreaded coming back home. Also, if you see Kevin Screene as an option for your tour guides, take him. Amazing person and an even better guide.

As first time visitors to Italy, this was an excellent tour. We were able to cover a lot of ground and visit the major iconic sites during this trip. It was great knowing that all of the details of tickets to the sites, transportation, and transfers between hotels and locations was cared for so that we didn't need to worry about a thing. Our travel concierge, Anna, was excellent and extremely knowledgable and organized which made our trip even more enjoyable. We also felt that the small group size of 24 travelers made for a more intimate experience and enabled us to access sites and experiences with greater ease.

Excellent

Rachelle was the best tour leader. Some hotels needs to be reviewed/replaced. Chris and Simon very professional drivers. All side excursions were worth the money. Planed meals were very good and represented the local flavor. Be prepared to pay to pee and all the labor strikes in Italy.

Excellent, interesting tour, amazing scenery and visiting some wonderful places like Lucca my absolutely favourite place on the tour. We stayed in some really nice interesting hotels though I wasn’t that keen on Villa Pitiana in Tuscany. Lots of faded grandeur and an uncomfortable bed. I don’t mind old hotels at all but the bedroom I had at Villa Pitiana was gloomy and most unwelcoming and the bathroom was not great. The Villa was in need of major refurbishment and too far away from anything. I would have preferred three nights in Lucca to explore some more. A few people on the tour felt the same. I also really liked Rapallo and would have enjoyed more time there. Silvia was a wonderful guide. So knowledgeable, helpful and great personality. Our driver Gaetano was friendly and a skilful, safe driver. They made a great team.
