Bhutan is splendid

For sure Bhutan is one of my favourite countries. The sceneries in Bhutan is splendid , with greens, peace and culturally rooted places. I have come across the most amazing and humble people in Bhutan who made me feel so welcomed and it’s quite clean and pretty safe for a solo travelers . I really enjoyed the Taksang trekking and the amazing view of Phunaka Valley. The architecture are so unique and one of a kind.

This G Adventures trip was the "real thing". a chance to get a good exposure to the culture of Bhutan combined with lots of great hiking and outdoor experience (from birds and flowers to leeches!) without feeling like I was destroying anything. I felt that G Adventures did a good job minimizing our impact by sticking with its principles.

Our trip to Bhutan in April 2024, was a great success. Our guide, Kinzang and his crew looked after our group of 4 very well. The campsites are spacious and equipment excellent, even a hot water bottle at night when needed. During our walk we only saw 2 other trekkers. The Bhutanese people are very friendly. The scenery is stunning, with its snow covered mountains, many colourful flowering rhododendrons and the architecture very unique, especially the Dzongs. The hot springs to soak in was a real treat at the end of our trek.

5 Star Experience

5 Star experience start to finish. Excellent company. Had a very short amount of time and wanted to visit 3 countries: India, Nepal and Bhutan. Sujan, the owner, worked tirelessly to make it all happen. Could not ask for a better tour guide/friend to plan my trip with. Loved every moment of the trip and am looking forward to planning many more with Sujan.
