Delphi Tours in Fall

Busy. As long as participants understand that the focus is on ruins and that there is a lot of walking and information overload, then this trip is as it is described. However I among other participants, wished that there was an opportunity to spend an hour or two at a seaside location, as we did drive along shoreline a lot, to allow time to relax on a beach, and even soak your feet in the water. OR allow an extra hour or two at a hotel to enjoy the pool and just relax as this is a very active tour. Our tour director was phenomenal!! As a company, she is a keeper and a wonderful representative of Greece and Trafalgar. I hope you are able to give her a bonus or a solid salary increase! Our driver (sp?) was a great driver and very personable. He and made a great team.

My grandson and I had a delightful time. Every day was a new adventure. Amalia took such good care of us and helped us bond quickly so that it felt like were were traveling with family members. I truly enjoyed this holiday.

As a solo female traveller this is a great way to travel. Nice to have company while exploring a new country. I had a ball. Would absolutely recommend G Adventures

Overall, I was very pleased. Not being a morning person, I found the early starts difficult, but I understand the necessity. This was my first g adventure. I will return!

The trip was wonderful! We were impressed by the way the trip was planned. Great hotels and service by the representatives we dealt with. Our transportation vehicles and drivers were all very nice and had prompt pickups. Very thorough explanations of how things will work when we arrived in Athens.

The food at the International Atene was not very good. This was not the hotel they stated I'd be placed at in Athens. Also in the itinerary sent when I booked it listed all 4 star hotels so I was expecting very high class hotels. The room in the Atene was excellent but not the lobby or food. It was in a dicey neighborhood. The hotel in Kalambaka was also not very good. There were better hotels in town. I also did not know would be picking up tourists from different hotels, giving it an impersonal aspect. The tour guide and driver were excellent. The attractions we saw were excellent.
