Amalfi Coast & Campania 8-Day Tours and Trips

Let me start with Veriano was absolutely delightful, knowledgeable and personable. He made our adventure unforgettable. He answered all out questions and believe me our group had a lot. He made us laugh and showed us things we would never look for on our own. He always Reminded us to make sure we use our seatbelts every time we entered our bus. Looking forward to planning another trip with exodus. Hopefully we would be lucky enough to get Veriano again or someone as professional and friendly as him. Exodus is lucky to have someone like Veriano on their staff.

Recently back from the Amalfi Coast Trip. It was amazing. Lots of spectacular walks with stunning scenery, together with wonderful trips to Pompeii and Herculaneum and the day off spent on the island of Capri. We were extremely lucky with the weather for nearing the end of October with blue skies and warm sun every day. We were lucky to have a fantastic group of like minded people from USA, Australia, Canada and of course the UK, as well as the best of leaders, Vania. Very comfortable family run hotel too, and enjoyed the pizza and tiramisu making evenings, and the trip to the Mozarella factory. One of the best walking holidays we’ve had.

I did my first Exodus trip hiking the Amalfi Coast in September. It far surpassed my expectations. The hike itself is so beautiful. Everyday we were treated to absolutely spectacular views. The hiking was challenging as there were lots of ups and downs but it was "very doable" as our lovely guide Christine told us. The group was made up of some Canadians with most being from the UK. I really enjoyed the dynamics of the group and our leader set the tone for what was a very pleasant time. Our accommodation for the trip was also excellent, as was the food and the special activities like making pasta and tirimisu. Any problems that arouse were quickly taken care of and the staff were very helpful. I'm already looking for another Exodus trip.

If you are expecting a fantastic scenery and lovely people, this trip is a ‘must have’. In addition to breath taking natural beauty of the Path of Gods, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius are ancient and geological sites to see. Pretty villages along the coastal path are great hosts for a quick ice cream break or for a romantic dinner. If you are tired of walking it is easy to find a beach nearby. Perhaps a cliché but Ravello and Capri would be good destinations at your free time. So if you have lots of lemons in your life, perfect trip to learn how to do ‘limoncello’.    

An amazing 7 days spent, seeing the sights of Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Capri, Nature Reserves, Mount Vesuvius and more. A beautiful way to explore what south west Italy has to offer.

Arrived in Naples to heavy rain....however Sunday started cloudy but warm and the weather just kept improving. Hotels were very good, perhaps Hotel Rita could be improved in the evening meal and breakfast (Buffalo Burgers - avoid). Lunchtimes gave us a good variety of Italian food. Cycling on the actual Amalfi coast is "interesting" but we all survived. Great views throughout the whole holiday with some hills to test your legs and lungs. Just the right amount of history and monuments. The 'free day' gave us a great (lots of steps) walk.
