See the ruins of Herculaneum, the smaller, but no less impressive, sister of Pompeii, frozen in time by the same devastating volcanic eruption of August 24th 79 AD. Left buried under the rubble of ash until the 1700s, its discovery stunned the world.

This trip was chosen by my wife and myself at short notice but it turned out to be a fantastic blend of some slightly challenging walks ( due to rain and wind in November) loads of fantastic views , some incredibly interesting historic locations and even a swim in the bay at Positano on the last day at the end of November! The hotel was very well run by a friendly family with beautiful cooking and the inclusion of 3 meals. made the wholetrip very reasonably priced.Our guide, Livia, helped us have a great time and made changes to accomodate the weather conditions and the differing physical abilities of the group members.

A good balance of sight-seeing, walking and enjoying local ambiance in a beautiful part of Italy. Not as rushed as some Exodus holidays but still full of interest. Time to enjoy cappuccino, gelati and wine. Beautiful walks along the Amalfi coast Great local hotel with excellent food and plenty of vegetarian choice.

A great holiday! Our hotel was so nice with such friendly staff and going out of their way to cope with food allergies. Our guide was smashing and our walks were very good. That coastline is so beautiful. The balance of walks, trips to Pompeii etc and free time was a good balance.
