Amalfi Coast & Campania Tours in April 2026

A wonderful way to see the Amalfi Coast. Our guide was a local legend and knew everyone, everywhere - meaning he gave us a real authentic taste of Italian life. Food, scenery, culture, shops, swimming, walking, cookery... we tasted it all.

Everything worked as we expected it to (even the weather wasn't too bad). Transfers and transportation were smooth and comfortable. The base hotel had all the amenities, had good food and was authentic Italian hospitality.

We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this trip and would highly recommend it as a great way to see this coast with gorgeous scenery throughout. The hikes were all very challenging with all the steps up and down, but with plenty of time for each one we could vary our pace to make them all doable. The hikes took us through various woodlands, up/down/beside cliffs, through smaller hillside towns, all of which were a great balance to the busy touristy towns where we stayed and also very much enjoyed. We added an extra day in each town to give us more time to enjoy the ambiance of it all. The March/April weather was perfect for hiking, not too hot or too busy yet.

I love the Amalfi coast and was looking forward to this holiday but although as a whole it was a great experience I was left quite disappointed on more than one occasions. I heard from others that other Exodus holidays in other location have been much better. It seems to depend on the local Exodus team rather than on the agency staff in the UK.

I really would recommend this trip for the experiences it offers of the Amalfi coastline and its most fabulous landmarks. The scenery, views and opportunities to savour some of the best of Italian culture did not disappoint and will resonate with me for weeks to come. My only caveat would be for those who are uncertain of their capacity or willingness to endure some strenuous, extended hikes; the scenery certainly made it worthwhile, but some in the group questioned whether the physical demands were too high. This holiday isn't for anyone looking for leisurely explorations of the Amalfi coast, although the hikes made the comforts of rest, relaxation and tasty food in between all the more appreciated! This was a well organised trip and I met some lovely people too. What's not to like?!
