Sweden takes great pride in its natural beauty so of course there are plenty of trekking tours to enjoy here, including the well-known Padjelanta trail. Head to Norrbottens län, the country’s northernmost county, for incredible views of the Northern Lights. Try not to get lost in Stockholm, which is spread across 14 islands, connected by over 50 bridges!

Sweden Tour Reviews

Honest insights from past guests on our Sweden tours

Tatiana D. | Traveled in June

The trip was great! Two weeks allowed for a more comprehensive experience than just visiting the capitals, and visiting Norwegian fjords and mountains was exceptionally valuable. Due to the large territory that the itinerary covered, there were about 3 days with lots of travel on the bus, but the stops were provided at good intervals. It was also a very balanced combination of historical, cultural and natural highlights of the three countries. The Travel Director and the Bus Driver were wonderful. All our needs were attended to. We highly recommend this trip with Trafalgar.

This was an amazing tour, giving a glimpse of the three countries. The itinerary was really good and there was time given to explore on our own. Our tour leader Paula was wonderful- well organised and very informative. I would definitely recommend recommend this trip.

Very enjoyable trip with Blueroads. Beautiful countryside of both forest & fields along with charming towns & cities. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful in providing insights that we’d never know about when travelling alone. Definitely recommend this trip.

A very well organised trip that fully met and exceeded my expectations. The TD and Driver were exceptional, as a team they kept the whole group safe and informed. I would recommend this trip to anyone wishing to see and learn more of Scandinavia than possible to do it on their own.

Ron H. | Traveled in June

The itinerary is well balanced, just enough time in each place to see and experience the important things. The hotels were all very good, I thought the room sizes was all right even though you hear all the time that the rooms are small in northern Europe. They were all in very good locations. If you like great scenery, then this is a trip for you.

We had a great tour leader and a driver. Inga has a wonderful singing voice and her singing of local songs added an extra pleasure to the trip. She managed somewhat irregular condition (local ride equipment failure) very well. Her daily written instruction was clear and vocal instructions were easy to listen and understand. Piotr was quiet but a safe and confident driver. I saw him cleaning bus windows after the tour and see that he takes good care of the bus as well as passenger. I took Spain/Portugal tour in April and made one negative comment that was the local tour using the "speaker" and we did not have ear-sets. I was afraid that this trip do the same. But Inga said she bought the ear-set system on her own and let us use it. The system was new and worked perfectly. I really appreciated Inga taking the initiative to improve our travel experience.
