Customer Reviews
The itinerary was a busy one, but I like that. I want to see as much as I can in the limited time I am somewhere that I'll probably never visit again. The tour director's knowledge and historical information is incalculable.
great travel director. beautiful countryside. interesting side trips.small towns and fishing villages especially beautiful.bus time slightly long at times.overall, a great trip
1. Several full days of driving was one of the negative things. 2. As vegetarians, we were served the same dinner on two consecutive days - mostly tomato sauce with a few chickpeas and red beans. Since Trafalgar tours consistently have many vegetarian travelers, more balanced vegetarian meals should be offered. If comparable meals cannot be provided, a partial meal credit would be appreciated. 3. We have traveled with Trafalgar since 2013 and have noticed a decline in hotel quality. The accommodations have gone from consistently excellent to average, which has affected the overall experience. 4. The "Be My Guest" visit to the farm was a wonderful experience. Hearing directly from the farmer and their family made it both authentic and memorable. 5. The drivers were excellent—safe, professional, and courteous. 6. The tour director's insights into the history, culture, lifestyle, and political landscape of each country were informative.
Excellent scenery. Extremely well organized tour director. Very good experience of Scandinavian culture. Covered a lot territory so a few days were long hauls on the bus. Enjoyed train & ferry rides through the fiords.
Breathtaking scenery.
