A very well-organised tour from beginning to end. Breakfast at most places had plenty of choice, and having some lunches and dinners included was excellent and made everything so convenient. We really appreciated the little extras along the way — things like the horse ride around the city, free time to explore, and stops at local shops known for their regional produce all added something special to the experience. The guides were incredibly informative and took great care of us, and by the end felt more like friends than guides. We made wonderful memories and would happily recommend this tour. A bit more information about the optional additional tours would have been helpful, as some were different than expected, and it would have been nice if tickets to certain sites, like the palaces in Sintra, were included.

An absolutely fantastic tour! Everything was so well organised, with great breakfast options at most places and some delicious lunches and dinners included — which made everything easy and stress-free. The guides were amazing: super knowledgeable, genuinely caring, and by the end felt like close friends. We had the best time, made unforgettable memories, and couldn’t recommend this tour more! Oumaima, our guide was wonderful — so knowledgeable, spoke English really well and always happy to answer our many questions. Our Guide Ellioth "Elliot" was amazing! I have been on many tours and expeditions but never had a guide that knew, or found out anything from information on our travel times to knowing more about his home countries history and neighboring country of Ecuador history better than I know American History and I have a degree in it. My day was always full of fun excitement and things I have never seen before and may never again. The detail in the travel and tours were planned out so one never felt really rushed. Remember this is a TOUR not a Vacation. There is a lot of walking and physical activity but after watching one individual in our group I am now convinced everyone who can manage 20 to 30 stairs at a time with breaks will be fine. The guides work at the groups pace and the group if they are good help the others when and if needed. The terrain is not flat or paved lots of place. Wear comfortable shoes. Underwater camera is recommended in my opinion. Binoculars I also highly recommend. For snorkeling they will let you use life rings and more buoyant if you struggle with your face in the water. Snorkeling off the beach is easier than off the side of a zodiac. SUN SCREEN, HAT, SUN GLASSES...DON'T FORGET THESE!! One more fun thing that I learned on the trip is that people in Peru and Ecuador LOVE $2 BILLS. 2 dollar bills are considered lucky and rare, so if you want to make your guide and other locals that assist you on your adventures day better take some with! THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

Flew from Edinburgh via Doha and Bangkok to Chang Mai. Timings a bit tight but we got there and bags a few hours later. Met by the guide (Witt)- great guy and really helpful. Itinerary was great, stayed in some top places and saw a great number of temples etc. Food ideas were always top notch and well thought out. All very good quality food and usually cheap. The home stay in Nanton Chan was exceptional and the friendliness and acceptance of us by the people was great. The tour meanders down to Bangkok where it finishes and we really enjoyed. Also the people who seem to book via Explore are great bunch and very friendly so everyone fits in. The driving was full on but comfortable and our drivers were exceptional. If you are into full on temples and Thai culture this is an excellent break. Flying back to Edinburgh was tight so probably leave longer gaps between connections.
