Zimbabwe Tours in January 2026

There was no tour leader on this 3 night trip to Victoria Falls. The hotel was of a very high standard and the trip around Victoria Falls was well guided by a local guide. The food at the hotel was excellent and I enjoyed strolling through the grounds of the hotel. I booked a helicopter ride through the hotel, but should have booked direct as this would have been cheaper. Overall a lovely extension to the Garden Route holiday.

I’ve backpacked through 76 countries and I love to solo travel. But I’m now a business owner in my 40s and sometimes life gets too busy to plan everything while still needing to satisfy my wanderlust. GAdventures takes all that stress away while still offering itineraries and guides that make it feel like a true travel experience and not just a cushy vacation. They take the “Adventure” part seriously and I can’t recommend this company enough.

My experience with G adventures in Africa was once in a lifetime. From the people on the tour to the safaris done in each location, I will never forget my time on this tour. Would recommend to anyone! As a female, I also felt very safe. One note, the whole trip is tent camping, so be prepared! Although upgrades are offered on most nights (excluding 2), they cost approximately 50-100$ so keep that in mind.

Windhoek to Zimbabwe was a fantastic short trip in Africa. I enjoyed all the different experiences of the journey. I look forward to my next G Adventure, wherever it may take me.
