I wasn't sure when I signed up for this particular tour if it was the right one for me so my expectations were reasonably low. What I actually experienced was one of the best tours I have participate in. The whole experience was brilliant. However, the Okavango Delta absolutely blew me away and had such a profound effect on my outlook on life and sitting around fire under the starlit sky will live in my memory forever. The whole journey through Botswana was truly life changing - at times so basic, but equally, so beautiful. Africa has stolen a piece of my heart and I can not wait to return to explore more with G Adventures.

An amazing way to see the country and make the most of your time there. The best thing about the trip was the itinerary being organised for you and not having to do any of the thinking! There were many highlights of the trip - Etosha National Park, Hwange, the Namibian desert and Deadvlei and wild camping at the base of Spitzkoppe.

This trip lived up to our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The lodges and hotels were all very different and on the whole of a good standard. Beds were clean and comfortable. The journey is over 5000km in total, therefore includes long days, often over bumpy unmetalled roads. Included activities were varied and enjoyable. Some early starts but these were all for good reasons!
