Zimbabwe Tours in December 2026

I wasn't sure when I signed up for this particular tour if it was the right one for me so my expectations were reasonably low. What I actually experienced was one of the best tours I have participate in. The whole experience was brilliant. However, the Okavango Delta absolutely blew me away and had such a profound effect on my outlook on life and sitting around fire under the starlit sky will live in my memory forever. The whole journey through Botswana was truly life changing - at times so basic, but equally, so beautiful. Africa has stolen a piece of my heart and I can not wait to return to explore more with G Adventures.

I had a fantastic time on the tour, seeing so much and visiting 5 countries in a short period of time. A big thank you to Angie and Leonard for being awesome tour leaders throughout the entire thing.

An amazing way to see the country and make the most of your time there. The best thing about the trip was the itinerary being organised for you and not having to do any of the thinking! There were many highlights of the trip - Etosha National Park, Hwange, the Namibian desert and Deadvlei and wild camping at the base of Spitzkoppe.

This is the second trip I've experienced with Dragoman both experiences have been very positive. Enjoyed most experiencing different landscapes and seeing animals. Especially in Etosha National Park.... a truly magical experience.

Great trip but needs to be a couple of days longer to make more enjoyable (or less rushed). Great guide and fellow participants (from 30 to 75 years). Accommodation (lodges) was top class mostly, with a couple at mid range. Wifi available at all places but sometimes only at reception. Food allergies were catered for. Can't change the roads but the truck could be improved. However I would do this wonderful trip again anytime.

This trip lived up to our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The lodges and hotels were all very different and on the whole of a good standard. Beds were clean and comfortable. The journey is over 5000km in total, therefore includes long days, often over bumpy unmetalled roads. Included activities were varied and enjoyable. Some early starts but these were all for good reasons!
