Welcome to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. This charming town is best explored on foot. Its first inhabitants, the Yámana people, named it Ushuaia, meaning "protected bay." Officially incorporated in 1884, the town later became a penal colony, establishing a permanent Argentine presence in the region.

Today, you’ll enjoy a unique adventure connecting with nature and the regional gastronomy of Misiones. In the morning, you’ll be welcomed at La Chacrita with a traditional Misiones breakfast. Then, you’ll set off on a 4 km (2.5 mi) hike along a rugged forest trail, leading you to the Saltos del Arroyo Mbocay—a series of waterfalls, cascades, natural pools, and lush vegetation. The Mbocay stream originates in Puerto Península Park and flows into the Paraná River.
