day 1 - Welcome to Argentina!

Upon your arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, leaving the rest of the day free to relax and explore at your own pace.

Buenos Aires is a vibrant, fast-paced cosmopolitan city, bursting with color and diverse architecture. As Argentina’s capital, it’s often called the “Paris of South America,” and it proudly lives up to this title while showcasing its own rich culture.

Argentines are famous for their warmth and hospitality, so don’t be surprised if someone offers directions while you’re walking with a map—that’s part of the city’s charm!

On your first day, wander the charming cobblestone streets lined with outdoor cafés. Savor the irresistible aroma of freshly grilled Argentine beef on a traditional parrilla (barbecue), and browse local antique and artisan markets for unique souvenirs. For a deeper dive into Argentine style and craftsmanship, visit Palermo Soho, where local designers create chic leather jackets, handbags, and other fashionable finds

At the opposite end of Avenida de Mayo, admire the imposing Congress building, a testament to the nation’s political heritage.

Next, explore the lively San Telmo Market, where Buenos Aires’ energy comes alive. Then, visit La Boca, the birthplace of Tango. Stroll along Caminito Street, discovering vibrant murals and captivating tango-inspired art by local creators.

Continue with a stop in Puerto Madero, a revitalized former port showcasing sleek modern architecture that contrasts beautifully with the city’s historic landmarks.

Venture into Palermo, a green oasis filled with parks, including the historic City Zoo, the Botanical Garden, the Argentine Racecourse, the National Polo Field, and the Planetarium—a perfect blend of nature and leisure.
