USA: LA to Miami

best trip of my life

I’d honestly recommend doing 2 smaller trips, one east coast and then another west coast. There was a lot of wasted time on the coach and the one night stays you got into town somewhat too late to go do anything. Many of the hotels across this trip need to be changed! It was still a fun trip however as is.

Was a solid trip with a good group of people and adding words here so it’s 10 words

I made lots of friends. I saw lots of places. I feel our tour guide didn't enhance our experience. We got from place to place but she was stressed and not in control. She caused a scene in Vegas by getting so messed up she was carried home - hope nobody needed help that night because she was unavailable. There was no room for me in Vegas and I was standing in the lobby for 45 minutes while she fixed it. On the second last day we waited over an hour for our meal while she ate hers. She broke down in tears on the last day when she was two hours late to an event to get her tips. She just wasn't very good at her job

It was such a fantastic trip with great people! Each place was so different and amazing in its own way. We did such a variety of things and saw so many amazing sights!

It was really amazing travel. Nice people, perfect schedules and good condition of hotel. If someone hesitates to go abroad, I would like to say, you need to choose Contiki.

Overall! I had an amazing trip seeing the USA. Saw a lot of bucket list places, partied hard, I made heaps of great new friends & our tour guide was awesome & was heaps of fun going out with the group! Our bus driver was very fun & finally the accomodation was fantastic. The only thing I would have improved, was when we arrived in some places. I would’ve liked to dropped in more central/ major locations during some of our visits. I.e When I was in Orlando we were given 2 free days, but I left not really knowing or getting much of a chance to see the place. In future, if they did like a walking tour of city in more areas . Such as the one that happened in Little Havana in almost all places it would make a great experience even better.

Amazing trip. Our guide was super lovely and made the trip so fun, whilst making sure everyone was looked after and happy. Highlights for me were defo Vegas and the Grand Canyon! I’ve made so many amazing friends during these 3 weeks and was sorry to leave it went by so quickly! This was my first trip with Contiki, and I’m already planning my next :)

Amazing trip. Met so many great people and the places we saw were awesome! Had a fantastic trip manager who gave us everything we needed to ensure our trip was top notch. Would highly recommend to others!

Was good fun , met the most amazing people and got to experience cool adventures

This was my first group trip and with Contiki, not knowing really what to expect I went in with I would say low expectations just incase it didn’t live up to the ‘what you see online’ marking. However, I quickly became friends with everyone on the trip and realised it was an absolute out of this world experience to do. There were 1 or 2 of the accommodations that were really below par, as in the unsafe-ness of surroundings and interior hanging on by a thread but most of them were better than expected. Our tour guide gave us a few mishaps, like not giving correct information or messing up on our day plan.. we did find out at the end of our holiday it was their first time hosting a trip, so with that in mind it was more I would say disappoint. When you pay a lot of money for a trip you expect it to go without any mishaps. If I were in their shoes I would have maybe pre-planned a little more and not been so last minute with the following days day sheet to the WhatsApp group, as we had to prompt it a lot of the time. So their organisation could have been smoother running, these aren’t major points but I feel they do also kind of impact the trip itself. To finish off, I would definitely recommend this trip and doing any trips with Contiki as a company. I hope that I can book another soon :)

Such a good trip! Everything was planned out so well and we did so much during the 3 weeks. , our tour leader, was absolutely amazing! She made everyone feel welcome and included herself in almost all the activities, which made the whole group feel a lot closer.
