We were very disappointed that their was an annual parade that was not accommodated for in our trip. Because of this parade we had to walk an extensive period in the heat to go to the Smithsonian. Our time was very limited there because of all the additional walking to reach it. This did not feel like other Collette tours we have gone on in the past. The planning was very poor in our opinion and leads me to not want to go on other trips with Collette
There were places in Washington we didn't visit disappointing me.
Williamsburg had our favorite accommodations as they were within walking distance of colonial Williamsburg and we enjoyed the period correct dinner served family style so much!
