Wild at heart? The Southern Africa Encompassed: Bush Camps & Wildlife Spotting trip is a 15-day adventure designed for young adults keen to experience Africa’s untamed side. Departing and ending in Johannesburg, the journey spans South Africa, Botswana, and Zimbabwe, featuring traditional dancing, bush camping in the Okavango Delta, and wildlife tracking in Matobo and Kruger National Parks. Guided by seasoned experts, you’ll capture the ‘big five’ in their natural habitats while camping keeps you close to the action. The USP of this wildlife tour: raw, immersive encounters with Africa’s most spectacular wilderness, providing a full-course adventure for the intrepid traveler.
A fantastic adventure that really transformed my previously negative view of group trips! Botswana, in particular, was absolutely stunning and GAdventures built an excellent itinerary to have an unforgettable experience in Southern Africa. The tour guides/CEOs were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and fun – they did a fantastic job with a large group of travellers (many of whom were travelling solo) and really facilitated the creation of lifelong memories and friends. I’d highly recommend GAdventures and will certainly sign up for many more in the future!
Such a good trip. Met great people, the CEOs were all so brilliant & we went to some really incredible places. Would recommend to anyone who likes being outdoors & doesn’t mind camping
A once in a lifetime trip!!
An incredible experience that would not be possible without travelling as a group. Despite travelling solo I was never alone and made new friends along the way. The 18 to 30 somthing tours do a great job at bringing like minded people together. I am writing this before I’ve even made it back home after the trip and I am already looking at other 18 to 30 something tours to see what one is next.
It was such a lovely tour. We saw a lot during the time. I liked being in nature, seeing the African wildlife and getting to know different people from around the world. Definetly recommend this trip!
It was a truly memorable, once in a lifetime trip. I made some great friends along the way and feel very very lucky to have been able to tick this off my bucket list! The CEOs made the trip for me, could not recommend this trip any more. 10/10!!
Wow! This tour was incredible. I was nervous about the camping but the tents, food, atmosphere and even shower facilities were great! Basic but you can?t complain! The itinerary was amazing - we saw so much in such little time. There are quite a few long drives but are broken up with toilet stops and lunch breaks which helped speed up the travelling. Highlights for me were the okavango delta, bungee at vic falls, Chobe NP, the rhino trek in matobo and seeing a leopard in Kruger! Incredible CEOs who were all great cooks! Lots of yummy food and marshmallows by the camp fires at night, this is one of the best Gadventures tours I have ever done! Highly recommend!
My husband and I chose this tip to Africa as our honeymoon and I am so glad we did. This trip was the kind that many only dream about. It was so raw, showing the real Africa. It has made me richer in so many ways and I cannot thank G Adventures enough for such an amazing experience, one I will never forget!
Great way to visit these three countries with a variety of activities. It was the perfect way to achieve a lot in a short period of time and get local tips/info. I?m not the biggest group tour person but I know confidently that I would have never been able to facilitate this trip myself with the various and numerous activities. Specially the Delta was a top standout. I?d have loved to stay an extra night in that magical place with the local people that supported us.
