Journeys: Southern Africa Highlights

Mixing the Cape, Kruger and Namibia provided a great comparison of differing landscapes and fauna which kept the tour fresh and captivating. Am already recommending GAP tour to all who ask.

It was an absolute wonderful experience, from Cape Town to Johannesburg to Windhoek to Victoria Falls. I learned so much history, eye opening. Such fabulous safaris, I was in awe in seeing the Big 5 and all the other animals. The dunes in Namibia was more than I expected., such beauty. It was a great experience to eat a typical Namibian dinner at a restaurant as well as at a family home. Great conversation. 3 beautiful countries with beautiful people.

It was great with the exception of the flight scheduling to Victoria Falls as a result I do not feel that I got the full intinerary experience.

This adventure met or exceeded every one of our very high expectations for this trip!

Look forward to the Africa tour may even do it a second time it was fun.

Our tour of South Africa with National Geographic exceeded our expectations. The safaris, tours, guides, food, and most accommodations were exceptional. It was a fantastic way to experience South Africa.

This adventure lived up to its billing. We met great fellow travellers including one ?culture vulture? who all pulled together to share an experience that can never be repeated. All three COEs share the same sense of knowing what their clients want and deliver beyond expectations sometimes in difficult situations. Professionalism!

This trip was an absolutely amazing experience! I had pretty high expectations but i felt they were exceeded, thank you and well done!

Excellent. Trip of a life time. Very interesting loved to seeing the animals in their natural habitat but the cultural aspect that were the included aspects but also the additional paid excursions. Many of the expert added guides were very very good adding lots to the trip. I especially liked the guide/researcher to the Namibia in the desert who took us for a tour in the desert describing how the flora and fauna survived without rain etc.so very interesting. I also enjoyed the tour in the Botanical Garden in Cape Town, very interesting but too short. The only caution is that if you take this tour, you need to be aware of the long rides, usually necessary due to the isolation of some sites, and lots of early mornings. Always need to be prepared for lots of tipping on a daily basis. Overall, would highly recommend
