Our Jeep ride through the city of Rio de Janeiro will take you visit two sites of great natural beauty and cultural interest, besides being a trip of fun and full of adrenaline.

The excursion TIJUCA RAINFOREST & BOTANICAL GARDEN - JEEP TOUR, begins with a visit to the Botanical Garden, one of the most beautiful and best preserved green areas of the city. Then we will go to the National Park of Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world, being able to enjoy panoramic viewpoints along the way

Overview

Explore the Botanical Garden, a green paradise created in 1817 by King João VI of Portugal. This park, dedicated to the cultivation of exotic plants, exhibits a diversity of rare and exotic species brought from all over the world. Marvel at the Imperial Palms, the enormous water lilies (Victorias- Regias) and the threatened Brazilian redwoods (Pau Brasil), an endangered species in the Atlantic Forest, in its renowned greenhouse, more than 500 species of delicate orchids are carefully cultivated.

Then, delve into the Mata Atlanticaof Tijuca, the largest urban forest in the world, making a stop at the Mirador Chino that offers a magnificent view of the beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana, Guanabara Bay and the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain.

Remember that car access to Mirador Chino is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Along the tour, visitors often spot various tropical animals such as monkeys, sloths and exotic birds. Upon returning to the hotel, we make a stop at Playa del Pepino to contemplate the hang gliders.
