day 1 - Delhi arrival
Our representative will meet you upon arrival at the international airport in Delhi and transfer you to your hotel. Delhi stands as a symbol of India's magnificent past and thriving present. This city has never failed to amaze its visitors with its beautiful blend of various groups, diverse cultures and traditions as well as with its heritages of a bygone era. You are free after checking into the hotel. Stay overnight in Delhi.
day 2 - Delhi sightseeing tour
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and meet your tour guide. Your first destination is the Jama Masjid of Delhi, one of the largest mosques in the country. Visit Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi's biggest and oldest bazaar, next. Later, walk up to the Fatehpuri Mosque and enjoy a rickshaw ride from the mosque to Red Fort.
Meet our driver outside the fort and hop into the car. Drive past the fort (a 17th century historical monument) to reach Rajghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. An eternal flame burns on one side of this memorial.
Next, we will take you to Humayun's Tomb, widely regarded as India's first garden-style tomb. Inspired by the Persian architectural style, the main highlight of this tomb are the four garden squares surrounded by passages and channel for supplying water.
Drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan (the residence of India's president). See India Gate, an archway built in honor of the soldiers who died in World War I. Visit Qutub Minar, built by Qutab-ud-din Aibak in 1193 AD to mark the beginning of the Muslim rule in India. Stay overnight in Delhi.
day 3 - Delhi – Agra
Agra rose to prominence as the capital of Mughal emperors from 1526 AD to 1628 AD. It still remains a popular tourist destination because of its many splendid Mughal-era monuments, most notably the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri, all of which are Unesco World Heritage sites.
Check into your hotel in Agra upon arrival. Rest for a while and start your Agra tour with a visit to Agra Fort, which resembles the magnificent Red Fort of Delhi. Later in the evening, enjoy a beautiful view of the Taj Mahal, the most extravagant symbol of love, dedication and purity ever that took almost 22 years to build. It is an ivory-white marble monument where rest the mortal remains of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan (who built this monument) and his wife Mumtaz.
An interesting fact about this stunning edifice is that it turns pinkish in the morning, milky white in the evening and golden at night as the moonlight falls upon it. Watching sunset over this iconic monument is truly a sight to behold. Stay overnight at your hotel in Agra.
day 4 - Agra – Ranthambore National Park
Drive to Ranthambore after breakfast. Visit Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned city of the Mughals, en route. This city boasts some magnificent monuments built during the Mughal era, including Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza and the Tomb of Salim Chishti.
Check into your hotel on reaching Ranthambore National Park. Also called the abode of tigers, this national park is famous for its regular sightings of the majestic and endangered royal Bengal tigers.
day 5 - Ranthambore wildlife safari
Prepare for an early morning wildlife safari in Ranthambore. This national park is home to a variety of wildlife, including leopards, jackals, gazelles, wild boars and the endangered royal Bengal tiger. After a thrilling safari trip, return to the hotel and enjoy your breakfast.
There is another wildlife safari later in the afternoon today. Stay overnight at your hotel in Ranthambore.
day 6 - Ranthambore – Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur after breakfast and check into your hotel upon arrival. You are free to explore this city of the Rajputs by yourself throughout the day if you want to.
day 7 - Jaipur sightseeing tour
We will take you to the famous Amer Fort, dating back to the 16th century, after breakfast. This fort displays private halls, pavilions and private chambers of kings and members of royalty. Enjoy an elephant ride in the fort.
Next, head for City Palace, Jaipur, which consists of private and public chambers, courtyards, gateways, private chambers of kings and royalty and a lot more. Visit the Jaipur Turban Museum after that. One of the premier tourist attractions in the city, this museum houses the largest collection of turbans in the world. Learn to tie a turban in a Rajasthani style in thee museum. Later, head to Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory that features the world’s largest sundial.
Visit Hawa Mahal, a five-storey palace built in 1799 AD. This palace is famous for its intricately designed 953 windows adorned with spectacular latticework. You are free to explore the city on your own once the tour is over late in the afternoon.
